  • Nice popper
Size: 12OZ Tabletop Color: Red
I really like the corn popper. Works great, the grandkids like making their pop corn when they come over. Easy to use and easy to clean. I made one mistake during my first pop. I did not read the instructions carefully enough. You must put the oil in first wait a few minutes until the oil starts to smoke in kettle then put in the corn. On my first pop i put the corn and oil together then turned on the kettle. A few of the kernels burned and stained the kettle. All pops after came out great when you follow the instructions🤦🏻. ... show more

  • Great machine!
Size: 8OZ Tabletop with Cart Color: Red
I bought this particular machine after WEEKS of reading product reviews. I particularly liked the idea that the kettle used wing nuts to hold the top on, so it is MUCH easier to clean. Not sure I'd bother if I had to use a screwdriver. I also liked that this machine has GLASS walls, rather than plastic which would eventually cloud and scratch. I put the machine together in about 5 minutes. The cart took longer. Hahaha. I originally didn't have the floor in correctly, but fixed that later. As a 66-year-old woman, I was able to manage the whole thing myself. This is a substantial machine. Read "heavy". I don't worry about it falling over, or breaking easily, however. It arrived VERY quickly. Even before the estimated date, and I was thrilled. I put it together immediately and made my first two batches of popcorn. I need to play around with proportions yet, but it worked well. I used "mushroom" style popcorn. I used the heating light, and it DID keep it warm. Being the OCD person that I am, I cleaned it up afterwards and was delighted that it only took a few minutes. As another person mentioned, I purposefully left out the screws holding the bottom tray, so that I could just lift it out to clean it. The kettle removes easily, too, and the wing nuts make it a snap to remove the cover to clean. Looks brand new again. The only "con" that I have so far is the door flap on the bottom. It is very hard to open and close and I'm afraid I will break off the tabs that hold it in place. I'm not sure if I'm having trouble because I didn't put the bottom tray screws in (so the tray may jiggle a bit when I'm trying to open the flap), or what the issue is. I'm just being careful with it when I open or close it. All in all, I'm thrilled with this purchase. I think it will keep up with my home use. I had intended to take it to a couple of events, but I'm not sure it is big enough..... but we will see how well it does at keeping up. ... show more

  • Perfect for movie nights, good amount of great popped popcorn😋
Size: 12OZ Tabletop Color: Red
I purchased this machine for an outdoor movie night with family and it worked fantastic! I was worried about the machine producing enough popcorn for everyone and probably could have gotten away with purchasing the smaller machine as this one popped more than enough for the group of 10 people. Plus fresh popped kernels are way better and healthier than the microwave type. Popped two batches of 1cup kernels each and machine produced good quality and quantity of popcorn, everyone loved it!! The clean up was pretty good, as were the instructions on how to clean after use. For the price this machine is build pretty sturdy and worth the money paid. And happy it got the job done. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Better than the movie theater (and pandemic-proof)!
Size: 8OZ Tabletop Color: Red
This has been a massive hit with the family! The absolute best compliment I can give this machine is that our kids came home from the movie theater recently and said, "The popcorn at the movies wasn't as good as Dad's." Cleaning it is a breeze, and being able to make perfect, movie-style popcorn on demand is just awesome. Movie night at home is on a whole new level now. Staring down the likelihood of another pandemic and lockdown, this will be great to have when we are all trapped inside our homes again. Yeah, never again, Uncle Sam—I'm not living without buttery popcorn! ... show more

  • Not as big as some units, but it gets the job done at this price. Minor tweaks make a big change.
Size: 8OZ Tabletop Color: Red
I have used these style of popcorn machines for nearly 10 years at home. When I recently moved, I was unable to take the last machine (and stand) with me, so it was about time I could replace my last 16 ounce popper. I was a bit reluctant to try an 8 ounce popper this time, but shipping costs and the machine costs, as well as never trying to the Vevor brand made me want to give the lower cost model a try. I wouldnt give this model 5 stars, but it is actually pretty good for the money. Pros: Low costs, decently packed (made it 8k miles of shipping without even a scratch), easy to assemble (though the manual could be improved on the actual popper, it has more instructions on the cart that wasnt on my model than the popper itself), pops pretty quickly, relatively easy to clean (they are all kind of the same), good amount of popcorn per batch. Cons: Smallish interior cabinet, hard to reach around the kettle without getting burned, initially if you dont adjust the kettle lid - it jams quite frequently, warmer could be more broad in coverage than the back left area, not a 12/16 ounce. Cleaning: For all those reviewers that say the unit is hard to clean, you might not be aware how to clean a popcorn machine of this style. All you need to do to clean the unit is just add about a quarter cup of water to the kettle and turn the warmer on. NO CHEMICALS AT ALL! Do not add anything to the water, no need for special "kettle cleaners" etc. Just some plain water in the kettle and let it heat up and create a lot of steam. This will make it very easy to wipe down the inside of the glass and surfaces with just steam and some paper towels, careful not to touch the kettle. When you get through the first amount of water, add a second bit of water to the kettle and possible a couple more paper towels into the kettle and this time turn on the stirrer for a bit. Keep an eye on the unit as you dont want to go too long with this part or run dry of water. You will notice the steam and paper towels make very quick work of left over burnt residue and black marks. After two passes you should be all clear. For the initial bit, before I steam at all, sometimes I run a small shop vac I have DEDICATED to the popcorn machine to get all the salt and loose kernels lying around to give it a nice clean and then steam. Generally I only do this about once every 3 months or so. Or as you see fit. Popcorn to use: For me, I prefer the premeasured popcorn you can find here on Amazon. Usually in packs of 24 or more. This already has the best amount of salt/butter flavoring/kernels for the machine. 8 ounce packs work perfect. Of course, you can use 4 or 6 ounce as well, it just wont have as much popcorn after completion. Many don't know, but the secret to true movie style theater popcorn is the kernels (have to be the best golden mushroom style), coconut oil (usually butter flavored), and Fold Medal Flavacol (butter flavored fine grain salt). These three ingredients, not burning it, and removing moisture during and after the pop are the key to the best popcorn you have ever tasted consistently. Tweaks I made for better results: I found that out of the box, the unit gets jammed up on my 8 ounce packs from too much popcorn being spun around by the stirrer before it gets a chance to get pushed out. The popcorn can jam up against the middle bar area between the kettle lid parts that get pushed upwards during popping. What worked for me is loosening the wing nuts holding the lid on the popper about 1/4 to half backed off the bolt. This allows the lid and center section to have some give when the stirrer moves the popcorn around and prevents (for the most part) binding on the shaft turning the stirrer. Before I made this tweak, it jammed every time and I had to manually stop the machine stirrer and force the stirring rod out and dump the popcorn out with lots of unpopped kernels. Thankfully I found a way around that. Also, the under tray popcorn warmer is not touching the bottom of the tray. I believe this is as intending, but it means that the heat transfer from the warmer is weak. I would not make the tweak I made here, if you intend to leave the warmer on for long periods (days), as I havent tested what happens then, but for short periods of time (hours) it works better to get the heat into the tray metal and transfer to the popcorn kernels sitting in the bottom of the chassis. Your results may vary. Love this machine, and I will eventually upgrade again to a 16 ounce unit, but for now, this will hold me over with great tasting popcorn like the theaters. ... show more

  • Excellent Popcorn Machine for Business or Parties 🍿
Size: 8OZ Tabletop Color: Red
Very good quality for the price. The machine arrived well packaged, is easy to use, and heats up quickly. The popcorn comes out crispy and tastes just like movie theater popcorn. The size is perfect for small businesses, events, or family gatherings. It’s also very easy to clean and looks very professional. So far, it has been working perfectly without any issues. • Absolutely worth it
Size: 8OZ Tabletop Color: Red
So beside one minor flaw this thing is amazing! Only flaw, the heating light burned out upon first use of it, but that happens and the new bulb has zero issues. As for the machine we bought this to replace a Cuisinart 4oz popper that was so difficult to always clean we stopped using it. This one not only pops much better, more popcorn capacity, but cleaning a breeze with the stainless steel. Everything could of course be better and if it were priced higher I would expect that possibly, but for what you get and what you pay I can not think of many things on par with it. Possible reasons to buy a different brand and spend more (but be careful, many that cost much more are the same): The door that drops down is flimsy thin material and doesn't stay in the slots so well, easy to clean but you have to play with it often. The glass front has minor fit/finish issues The inside could be larger to have more scooping room ... show more
