Easy to put together. Brought home my motorcycle on this carrier. It’s a 2023 Honda Navi so it’s not super heavy, I think 280 pounds or something like that. I bought this as a possible alternative to my tow trailer or truck bed for my motorcycle. My bike weighs about 450lbs so I was a little nervous about that but it’s a sturdy unit, went together easy. It was almost too small for my bike on the unit and the ramp does not stay in place so it was a challenge loading and unloading. Strapping it down was also a concern, too much wobble just using the unit itself I had to use the anchor points in my truck bed for proper stability. I had to haul it 50 miles on the interstate and it handled the trip with no issues. I’m going drill anchor points on the loader itself and clamp the ramp so it stays in place. ... show more

I bought this based on the positive reviews. It was far from that. I ordered this for a trip I was taking out of state and it finally showed up after over a week late on the night before I left. I stayed up to put it all together and get my bike loaded and wasted my time and money. Once I had it mostly assembled, I went to put in the bolts that actually hold your bike on the rack and not only was I missing some of the hardware, there were 2 bolts that weren’t even threaded. To top it off the one bolt that wasn’t supposed to be threaded because it uses a pin on the end to hold the bike in place, had the hole for the pin only 20% drilled out. ... show more

I used this carrier to transport my 175 lbs scooter for about 100 miles. It held in place without wiggling. I removed a couple of the rods so the tires would go further down to make the tie-down set up more stable. Tire down straps worked well. I think it's worth the price fit lighter loads like light scooters or dirt bikes. I don't think I would try loading my 375 lbs sport bike on it tho. ... show more

I recently picked up the VEVOR motorcycle carrier, and while it has a few positives, there are some important issues to be aware of. The assembly process was fairly simple, but the kit arrived missing several bolts and washers, which was frustrating and required a trip to the hardware store before I could even finish putting it together. Once assembled, the frame itself didn’t inspire much confidence. The metal bends easily when tightening the bolts, and the structure feels less sturdy than advertised. With a load on it, the flex in the frame is noticeable, which raises concerns about long-term durability and safety. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option, but the missing hardware and weak frame make it hard to recommend unless you’re planning to reinforce it yourself. ... show more

Structure is decent Vevor quality. First, I added a wheel chock w/Front wheel pin, and extended the ramp. Needed a chock to aim for and roll it into so it didn't fall off the skinny ramp. Front tire of your bike should be less than 5" wide, although rear can be wider. About 7" wide max on the rear w/o hanging over the Tube structuire. Also added side plates to the structure outside so I can Pin the Rear wheel also. 7" works for my bike's rear tire to fit. For insurance, added a couple more welds to the central 2 x 2 structure. I found a better hitch brace with larger U bolt (Less Side to Side evident) on Amazon for $9 and a couple stick on trailer lights to plug into my hitch connector. Side rocking isn't bad with both my bikes which seem weighted more towards the front rather than balanced. Set up for my 300 ish dual sport on a 2door F150 but may try a 420 Lb. bike on my Mini Van. Haven't tried,, hitch height when loaded should be OK. Theoretically my specified 3500 tow capacity can only take 350 Lbs of tongue weight, but hey if no fat asses in the 3 rd row, has to be worth another couple hundred?? Minivans rear Tires are rated for 50 psi, so some maneuvering i'd think. ... show more
