I was looking for a more therapeutic massager similar to those I see used by personal trainers and Chiropractors. This seemed right based on the function and speed. The massager has a USB C port which is an added bonus as I have those regularly scattered through the household vs a proprietary charger that might take some careful planning to coordinate recharging the device. The size is compact but effective. After fully charging I used the massager on my wife who said that it helped relieve some neck tension she's been having. Similarly we've used it several times on some sports related injuries following a jammed finger and muscle fatigue. This definitely helps to relax the muscle and alleviate the tension experienced. As long as the muscle doesn't hurt badly before you start it seems to be able to be gentle enough on a slow setting or aggressive if needed for a long standing tightness. I would highly recommend it. Similar to massagers you see them using on sidelines in the NFL these appear to work well after cramping. As an added bonus, the battery life seems to be considerable and allows us to use several times before feeling inclined to plug it in for a recharge. It does come with a nice carrying case to help keep everything including the attachments neatly collected

I have a lot of shoulder, back, hip, and thigh pain so I've tried several different types of massagers on Amazon Vine. This one is the most successful. It successfully released my thigh trigger points, which is a major problem for me. It also helped some with my shoulders. One odd thing is that it really bounces when you put it on a bone. It's not necessarily painful when you hit a bone, but it bounces off entirely. I've mostly been using the first setting, sometimes trying out the second or third. I can't imagine getting to the 9th speed, but I'm new to percussion massage. As for the attachments, I've mostly been using the ball attachment. It's somewhere between a ping pong ball and a tennis ball in bounciness/firmness. I tried out the air compression/accordian head on my stomach. It does even it out a little bit but it still didn't work for my stomach. It seems like a nice alternative to the ball. I have not yet tried the other attachments. The flat head, cylinder head, spade head, and spinal head are all hard plastic, and I worry about using them with this powerful machine. It also seems like the spinal head is not going to go around my spine enough. This massager has a nice length to it so I can reach the middle of my back myself. It's also on the heavy side, which means that I don't have to push hard to get it to work. However, if you've got joint pain or a weak grip, this might not be for you. So far the charge has held through multiple sessions.

Back facet joints, SI joints, shoulder joints like to stick. They need a good strong hit to free them up in my big old bod. I selected this tool based on 3 numbers that were very conveniently listed in the same place for all Vevor massage tools. Thanks Vevor for the great product description, and grouping them all together making them easy to compare. Your needs will vary, but the most important numbers to me were: 12mm amplitude depth. That is how long the stroke of the plunger is. It can push up to 12mm into the muscle, or flab. I've got a fair amount of that, and needed the deepest reach. 800rpm minimum. Frankly I'd like a dial that let me turn it all the way down to 0rpm and raise it a little at a time as needed. But this was the lowest speed of all the deep reaching tools. I keep it on speed 1. Good enough. 16kg maximum thrust. Thats over 35 lbs. Thats a lot. I didn't want this bogging down, and it does not. It is quite strong thanks to a 24v battery and a strong motor. The long handle turned out to be really important to reach some spots comfortably. The L shape also allowed better reach and angles to push the tool where it was needed. I would put it between my bed and my back then twist the handle to bring it into contact with my back. Mostly only the side of the head makes contact. This works with the round ball attachment, but not many others. Using it this way got me thinking it might be really effective to have a very similar tool with a head that moves circular instead of in-out. The tool can get too intense after the big joints are broken free. It would be nice to be able to turn down the amplitude. That brings me to controls. They work, but I don't like em. The speed buttons get activated accidentally. I would prefer a single thumb wheel encoder that went from 0 rpm and maximum amplitude at the bottom, to maximum rpm and minimum amplitude at the top. When the motor is running fast, it does not use its amplitude effectively anyway. It just bounces the tool away from your skin. The 2 buttons for controlling speed should be a single rocker with strong spring if you need to control with switches. All controls and lights at the bottom would be preferred. And no blue LEDs! We use this before bed, or in bed in the dark. The blue speed indicator lights up the whole room and casts stark shadows that move whenever the tool moves. Small red led pips on the bottom would be sufficient and preserve night vision. Despite not liking the button layout, I do like the way they programmed the last used speed into non-volatile memory. So when you turn it on from the main switch on the bottom, it reverts back to the previously used speed whatever that was, including 0. I need something this powerful, but can only tolerate that much power briefly. Controlling speed alone does not vary intensity much at this large amplitude. Even the minimum speed is too fast.
