So far it is great have not finished the netting but it is as described. I anchored mine in old cut up telephone poles so no risk of blowing in the wind. Right now with the bird flu I am going to have to put tarps over the top anyway. Netting is coated metal i have put an extra layer of wire over the bottom as when 1 specific neighbor comes over I have a dog that tries to get into the enclosure away from him. She has pulled holes in the old enclosure and I am not taking chances. The green wire net is kinda fragile. Put chicken wire around base to prevent dinning in and put wire fencing to help prevent dog from damaging the netting. Otherwise all seems well. ... show more

Our coop has been up for about 6 wks and the chickens have been pulling at the wire putting holes in it allowing them to get out. Base is decent but you're better off getting actual chicken wire and wood to build a coop. 😞 waste of money

It was super easy to assemble. I did it myself in a couple hours… the “fencing” (the green net) is kinda flimsy and I’ll be reinforcing that with stronger fencing. I live on a hill with fields all around me and it gets VERY windy up here… the door kept coming open and my chickens would get out and the tarp ripped and the grommets broke. I put a stake in the door to hold it in place, that worked! But I’m going to need to buy a new tarp for it as well! ... show more

The frame is sturdy, but the wire is sooo flimsy. It kept breaking while wrapping it, a small raccoon could tear thru without any effort. I've had to buy some real wire to double wrap it adding another $120 to cost & another several hours to build. After the struggle I wasn't going to take apart to return. We replaced the plastic netting with real chicken wire for more security. Overall, this is a nice chicken run. Instructions are for three different models so you need to make sure you are following the one you bought.

    • Frame is as expected but wire is wrong width for frame. Had to rebuy wire at Home Depot.
Pattern Name: Flat
Frame snapped together easily. The bottom pipe to center pipe is 3.5 ft high. The wire covering sent is 3 ft wide. So there's a 6 inch gap if you do as instructed and wrap the lower wire mesh around the bottom half of the frame. The angled roof sections are 6ft wide, so the 3ft width wire roll can cover them in 2 passes as pictured in the instructions. I suspect the rolls of wire were supposed to be one 3ft width and one 4ft width which would have worked correctly. Honestly, the wire should have been pre-cut so it was clear exactly where it went. As it is, you'll be either purchase replacement wire like I did, or have to get creative about overlapping it and stitching it together with zip ties which would look moderately trashy. ... show more
