If you like puzzles, you’ll enjoy assembling this stand. Solve the mystery of which bolts go where and you win the prize of having a low costing and possibly stable stand. My stand had bent flanges and the wheels do not all sit flush on the floor. The instructions are very basic. It’s not difficult to assemble, holes line up well, but if you’re one who wants confidence in this unit holding up your classic engine and not falling, choose different. Mine leans now. It’s too heavy to disassemble and return so I’m kinda stuck and having to take my chances.

Haven't I mounted an engine to it yet, but it seems to be fairly well-made, if a bit on the light side. The instructions are far from the best, but anyone who is using something like an engine stand can figure it out.

It pains me to give such a low review of this company’s product because everything I’ve ever purchased from them has been an excellent buy in my book good quality and superb value however this product missed the mark and the only reason I’m reviewing it now is SAFETY! I question the validity of some of these reviews and call BS! MATH is objective reality not my feelings. A SBC long block with cast iron heads is at most 575 lbs the Gen2 lt1 I put on it w/ aluminum cylinder heads is 450# but for sake of discussion let’s assume it 500# that should be plenty safe for this stand to hold because we are 2/3rds of capacity! But it failed miserably and the only reason I am saying this now is for safety reasons. It goosenecked so bad I never would have worked with it I immediately hoisted it off and bought another stand and chalk it up to me being cheap as this was the cheapest of the 3. Furthermore the hardware to assemble it is pot metal or some other low grade and those raving about how they bolted a SBC right up to it are lying or they upgraded since my purchase 4/11/23 because it would NOT FIT the bell housing of a SBC without buying an adapter for it. Be forewarned it IMO if you put 750#s on this it will COLLAPSE is it good for Honda engines yeah 👍🏼 probably so but an American V8 Meh may God be with you
