First off, as a steel fabricator, I know how this was built. There is bad quality, and there is just plain not caring what you build or sell. I bought this engine stand because I was in a pinch and needed something quick. If I ordered in the next 2hrs,20mins, I would get it in two days. I received it a week later. Too late to do me any good. Even then I decided to assemble and keep it for the next project. Once I had it together I could see what I had. It looked like it had been dropped from a tall building. It was warped/twisted. Only three of the four wheels touched the floor. The mounting plate locating holes were off. Nothing about it was square or straight. While it did all bolt together (with sketchy hardware), it was not something I wanted to hang my engine from. And I wasn't going to fix something that I had paid good money for. Surely these people know what they are selling. Its not that hard to adjust a welding fixture, or drilling jig. This is just plain not caring about your product. I boxed it back up and a shipper came and picked it up. I never heard anything from the seller. After a two week wait, Amazon was kind enough to refund the purchase price, no problem.

Seems to be well made but it is difficult to spin the engine when all the weight is on it. The hole for the locking pin gets out of line easily when you spin the engine and it takes a hoist or two people to get it lined back up.

I bought this because I'm building a HEMI engine for a project. The arms DO NOT accommodate bellhousing bolt holes.. They either need to make the adaptor plate bigger , or include a bigger plate for large engines , ma(e the slide grooves about 1.5 inches longer or make the arms 1.5 to 2.0 inches longer.. Ideally a larger adaptor plate is the best fix. I had a buddy make me a larger plate and I gave this one to a friend who does 4 and 6 cylinder engines.. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.. Had this been disclosed BEFORE I purchased it I would've skipoed tjis one and bought a different one altogether. SERIOUSLY VEVOR.. DO SOME RESEARCH AND DESIGN BEFORE you just sell something that is sub par at best. Long story short.. If you're building a V8 engine.. this IS NOT the stand you want.

I am pretty much satisfied with the VEVOR 3/4 Ton Engine Stand. However, There are a few issues that I am dissatisfied with. First, the 4 mounting arms that attach the engine to the stand itself were missing. I went back and read other reviews and found others had experienced this as well. Also, the rotating head assembly that is used to rotate the engine at various angles is not drilled properly so the engine can't be set horizontally. It is off probably 10-15 degrees and thus all the other angled settings are off as well. I contacted the manufacturer customer service per instruction in the users manual about the missing parts. After many back and forth emails requesting receipts, and many photos of the engine stand and nameplate they shipped the parts. I am sure they were just stalling, hoping I would just give up my attempt to get the missing parts. But, you cannout use this stand without the engine mounting arms. It took about two weeks before I had all the parts. In retrospect, I would not purchase this item. I would pay a little more and buy on from a source like harbor freight where you can actually put your hands on the item you are purchasing.
