I used this machine for our high school prom and I’m very impressed. First I had the students assemble the machine and they found the directions easy to follow. The machine stayed on without any problems for 4 hours. 3 hours with constant use spitting out cotton candy quickly. The clean up was very easy as well. Just turn the machine on, pour hot water into the center and it spins the sugar off making it easy to wipe and clean. We will be using this for more school functions to come! ... show more

I don't write a lot of Amazon reviews, but I have to write one for this machine to warn others. I was using this only for school events, so I used it a few times prior and maintained it as per the instructions. Right before an event, where I had so many kids so excited for their cotton candy, this stopped working. It stopped heating the sugar so floss could not be made. It just stopped heating - it was very very disappointing to have this happen right before an event. Waste of money. PLEASE don't take the chance - don't buy this product! This cotton candy machine is easy to use, heats up fast, and makes fluffy cotton candy quickly. The quality is solid and cleanup is simple. Just keep in mind—it works best with the clear hood, which is sold separately. Without it, things can get a bit messy. Still a great buy!
