Description

PC3648-25amp Pro Chaser DC-DC Voltage Regulator reduces DC voltage ranging from 36V to 48V down to 12V at 25A 300W power. The strong and robust completely sealed water-resistant Aluminum shell allows the unit to function under severe outdoor damp weather. The extra key switch wire turns the regulator ON/OFF along with the battery, preventing any accessories from wasting the power when vehicles not in use. The mated connector and butt connectors in the package make installation easy and handy. Harness & Butt Connectors Included for Easy Wiring Detailed wiring instruction included in the package CSA/UL 62368-1:2019, IEC 62368-1:2018 Certified

THESE WORK WELL AS THEY ARE ACTIVATED BY CONNECTING A WIRE TO THE IGNITION SWITCH TO TURN IT ON. THEREFORE IT DOESW NOT HAVE A CONSTANT DRAIN ON THE BATTERY BANK.

I bought this as I have a 48 volt golf cart. My golf cart is street legal so needed a 12 volt source of power. I recently switched to 8 volt batteries, so was not able to combine two batteries together when I had 6 volt batteries. If I go to lithium batteries, this should still give me 12 volts of power. ... show more

Purchased from Amazon, Shipped and Installed accordingly to the diagrams provided. Used a 12V switch as the trigger, No issues there. Connected the 48 Volt source accordingly & then connected the output (Supposedly 12 Volts @ XX Amp's) of this transformer - To my Existing / Fully Working / And have been working for at least a year using one of the batteries as its source. Which ultimately Kills that Battery instead of using ALL of the 4 12V batteries as "One" - Lasting Basically "Forever"... Anyway.... Hit the switch...... Not even a Blip or flash or a Burp, or a Flicker at the Hips ---- Lights Completly Smoed.. Verified input Voltage (48V) Verified Output Voltage (I was hoping for 12V, But I got 43Volts) Had to get New Lights, Transformer, ETC ETC BlaaBlaaBlaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... And UNFORTUNITLY, or Apparently I waited to long to install this part and I got Screwed outta 317.74 Really Disappointed to say the least. Its one thing if I have the money to Spend or Blow.. But when Im like Hand-N-Mouth, Paycheck to Paycheck, Kids, School, Bills etc.. We All have them.. When Im Broke ---> Really "EEEERKS Me".....
