I had multiple hoops in my cart waiting for the right money to splurge the $130-$250 on one. With 4 kids money is tight so I held off. Then I saw this one for $50 and thought, must be a hunk of junk or it'll get refunded before shipping etc. well....not only did it arrive in just a couple days but it's awesome quality. No bells and whistles. You have to remove screws to adjust height etc but for a good solid basic hoop this is great. Water filled bottom but adding sandbags to be sure it's secure. Thought it’d be impossible to find a solid basketball goal for as low as 50 bucks, but boy was I wrong! This is such a good quality hoop for the money, this things actually sturdy and I was almost skeptical about it being to big for the pool because the rim and backboard are actually full NBA size but it fits perfect especially with its slim base and is super easy to put away with the wheels and how lightweight it is with just the two poles. Now the assembly is easier if you have 2-3 people, because alone it’s a pain in the neck and I also recommend using your own tools because the ones included ain't the best. A Drill with the right sockets and a good wrench is preferred. Other than that 10/10! Get one you won’t regret it, it’ll improve your summer because I know it’s gonna improve ours! ... show more

As many other reviews indicate, this is a solid backboard, hoop, and stand. Hard to find others at this low of a price point, so I have no issue recommending it. And the instructions aren’t as bad as some others reviews have described. I was able to put the whole thing together in about an hour. My biggest complaint is that there’s a giant ad for Vevor Tools on the backboard. This ad does not show up in any of the item photos here on the Amazon listing. Does it change the functionality of the item? Of course not. But this is annoying and feels underhanded. ... show more

Terrible quality. We've only had this for 6 months, it wasn't used all that often, and when we shot a ball, it hit the backboard and broke it. How the heck does that happen??! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY on this - they're so expensive and it didn't even last a year...total trash

1 week in and this thing is great! Took some time to put together, and definitely recommend a second set of hands. One of the four nuts was stripped on the hoop assembly. Thankfully I had extra hardwear on hand and was able to craft something.
