Purchased in 2019... Has been a GREAT heat press... I do recommend bolting it down to your surface as sometimes the swing away action will cause it to try and topple.... Have used this machine SOOOO much and loved it... until recently... not sure what happened to it, it will not stay on, the safety breaker trips every time I turn it on. I have reached out to the company for resolution, hopefully this will resolved soon. I have used the cup/mug attachment often.. I have never used the plate press or the hat press because I have not felt like taking it apart to install the other components but the mug press option is a simple cord swap vs taking off the whole top section. I think I will be purchasing a hat press specifically for hats rather than using this feature on this press but once this press is fixed, I will continue using the attachment for mugs! In hindsight, I do wish I had purchased a larger 15x15 plate, perhaps even a slide out so if your just now shopping you might want to consider those options but honestly. I don’t typically write reviews, but I don’t want anyone to go through the same experience. I knew I was taking a chance when I bought a heat press at this price point, but I work for a school and I didn’t have much to spend. I used this heat press for a project with my students. I purchased this is January. In February, we used it to create 25 t-shirts, and it worked perfectly without issue. We received another order for t-shirts and we began making them. About 7 shirts in, the heat press would not longer heat up. It just stopped worked halfway through one of our shirts. We tried all trouble shooting options in the manual and online- let it cool, unplugged it, turned it on and off, cleaned the plate, but nothing worked. I am very disappointed that I only got to use this a few times before it completely gave out. Unfortunately it is past my return date which was the end of February, so now I am stuck with a heat press that doesn’t work. My students were so excited to start this little small business, and now we have to stop. Next time I will purchase a better item. ... show more

I got so much more than I expected. This is a heavy, nice, professional grade tool. I can’t afford a Cricut press but there is no need to buy name brand when there are quality products like this. Thoroughly expressed!

Had to deal with support at the start! The Heat Press came with everything except the rotation lock knob/screw. To make a long story short, they did send a knob from Chine DHL expedite. So tech support was a plus. We looked for the controller to have a side port for the heater connection. This, it turned out, was an upgrade so the manual didn't cover that except through an addendum sheet. Setup for heat was a bit different than the manual, though we were able to figure it out. The manual does not really discuss the pressure setup correctly. There is a small drawing that shows measuring the distance on a spring, which I will assume is the distance between the bolt head and the plate the head sits on. For anything except a T-Shirt this distance is 3/16". For a T-Shirt the distance is 3/8" - 1/2". Wellll. Turning the pressure adjust knob enough to get 3/8" does not give a lot of confidence in the structural integrity of the heat press. When the heat bed contacts the foam bed the rear arm leans backward structurally this does not feel right, nor is the heat bed contacting the foam bed evenly. This can be seen visually and at the springs. We have used it for sublimation of a wind spinner and some foam coasters. They both came out excellent. I adjusted the pressure so I couldn't pull paper out between the hotplate and the foam bed, this also showed the uneven pressure. Tried to measure the heat bed temperature, but it is covered by a fabric sheet that gave inconsistent readings though all were in the ballpark of the setting. This was bought because it was cheap and had all that was needed to do sublimation on various items. The manual is typical of cheap products from China, and the build is typical of cheap products from China. It does work, and I would have to say it works pretty well. Tech support does respond and support. The minus for ease to use is due to the manual. The manual should allow the end user to use the product completely. ... show more

This machine is easy to use. I would say inducate that you press the power button again to start the timer, otherwise its easy to start up. Feels sturdy as well and was able to press all the types of vinyls i have tried soo far
