I bought this mini heat press specifically for perler beads and it works perfect! I wanted a small iron of some sort so it wouldn't take up too much storage space, and this is the perfect size for usability and storage. I'm so glad it comes with the holder to use while it's sitting idle, because it gets HOT. I only needed to use the first heat setting for it to melt the perlers, so if you're looking for at least that level of heat this will do it. The handle is great too, easy to handle the press and grippy enough for a precise and strong grip. Overall highly recommend if you're looking to use this for a similar purpose! ... show more

I have the Cricut heat press in 12x12, 9x9, and this. I made 24 shirts with designs on front and back with this little iron and I prefer it over the bigger ones. Easy to store and carry (hate carrying the 12x12) and unlike the bigger presses, you can get into small spaces or near creases. Cheap & useful. Love it. ... show more

Really handy to have to heat press those small items/designs. Would have given it a 5 but it does not have a timer, so you have no idea how long to leave it on the item/ have to guess/or use your phone's stopwatch, which seems pretty ridiculous.
