This is a good safe for the price, it has a really nice size and good quality for under $200. Does better exist, yes. Does better exist at this price point, not that I could find. Even so, would I trust putting a firearm in it, no. I bought this safe to store my airsoft replicas in. For a task such as storing realistic replicas I think it is perfectly suited for something that is locked up purely to keep it out of public view.

I would not buy anything off these people. When it came to assembling,the direction are terrible,which I expected,I dealt with. It took about two hours. The issue I had was after it was assembled the door would not lock. After further inspection,the lock bar at the bottom of the door is misaligned inside the door . I messaged the company about the issue,there was no reply after 2 days . I called Amazon and they had the company email me. They wanted me to send videos to them on links they sent me that didn't work . This went back and forth for 2 days. I called Amazon and sent them pictures. They are issuing me a refund which I'm waiting for now. The company wants me to unassembled the safe ,put it back in the box the print the Fed ex label and they will pick up . I told them,I have thrown the box away ,and refuse to spend 2 more hours in assembling this piece of scrap metal finding a new box . I will gladly slap a label on it from a link that works and leave it outside for FedEx . Their communication is horrible,I thought I would be getting a call to work this out. It's a short email,like you are dealing with a Bot . Anyway..Beware!!

I For the peice, it'll do the job. The sheet metal they used is fairly thin and light weight. Multiple screw holes didn't line up so I had to apply a lot of pressure to side panels and/or the front and rear panels to get it to line up. The feet are not long enough to touch the floor (the bottom panel where the feet attach is sunk in a bit compared to the safe frame). This makes it wobbly. I will secure it to the wall and look for new feet to alleviate this problem. Most of the pictures in the manual are so dark that you cannot tell what they represent.

I can’t believe others have given this anything other than a five star review. Is it a high end fireproof safe? Absolutely not it’s $125. Is it on par with a high end Amsec safe? Absolutely not it’s $125. Is it effective at keeping guns away from children? Yes definitely and it’s decent for protecting your guns from thieves who do not have more than a few minutes to try and break in (when properly anchored). You get way more than you pay for though as this is much better than expected at this price point or even double this price point. The build quality is great at this price point and the only issue I have is the electronic dial is not capable of being reprogrammed by using the included instructions. A quick entry of the SKU into grok solved that issue though. So while I certainly wouldn’t recommend this to store and protect valuable items from fire or theft it works great at giving fast access to only those with the code. Anyone with a large pry bar and some time can easily gain access but again for a product at this price point it’s great.

The metal is a little thin, so think of it more as a metal gun cabinet that locks with a safe style door. It was exactly what I was expecting for this price range and was good value for it. I am pleased with it. Plenty of room. Everything was functioinal and worked well. The door pockets for hand guns are nice, I had to remove the shelf because one of my field shot guns was to tall to fit well, and the modularity of being able to adjust and move the shelf is great.
