Temps and humidity are all over the place. I lost an entire batch of eggs. I even set the temp higher than you’re supposed too for hatching (100.7) to see if the temp would rise in the incubator and added the second water bottle to get the humidity higher and it would not come up to temp.

The incubator is great. Good quality, decent hatch rate (even with a power outage early in the process). One thing I absolutely hate is where the power plug is. It is in the front where you open it. It gets in the way and ends up getting unplugged because it's not built in. The cord is also very, very, very short for what I need (maybe 3 feet long). I had to replace the cord with another one just to get it plugged in from a table to the wall. I really like it other than the cord placement and the cord length. Very poor design when it comes to the plug. There are several different places the cord could have been put other than directly where the lid opens. Also, due to the short cord and it's very poor placement, you have to turn the incubator where it opens toward a wall. This causes you to have to move the incubator a lot more than you should just to add water to the tray and to open it. I'm not sure who came up with that design but, it needs to be thought about again.

So far this incubator has been perfect until day 16 when the automatic turner stopped. I now have 4 days left till hatching day, I will then do the factory reset per in the instructions manual and keep my fingers crossed that it works again.

We have done quail, ducks, and chickens in this incubator. Each time we have had great hatch rates. It’s easy to use & requires ver minimal maintenance after the initial load up, till lock down. The temp and humidity is pretty much controlled automatically. Occasionally I’d spray some water to increase humidity but not often. The egg turning works great as well. My only complaint is that I wish they had a bigger size!
