I purchased the Steel although I had considered the partial Aluminum/Steel one. It is heavy, but if You have a paved surface to roll it around on You shouldn't have any problems maneuvering it-I'm 70+ Year's Old & it moves freely. As stated appears well built, & extends higher than a lot of others around. I actually have a smaller Floor Jack but working on My F-150 4 Wheel Drive was quite a challenge using it. Been needing a Heavier Duty Jack for a while, & this one fits the bill. My Neighbor has a Heavy Duty Jack & He Graciously has let Me use His a # of times (different Brand), But Time for Me to take the plunge. Came securely packaged, with no mishaps. Bought this to use in place of the cheap manual scissor lift I had that takes more time to use and I don't trust as much. This lifts my '07 Ridgeline easily and makes it much easier to work on in general at home in the driveway. No issues after using around 6 times now.

The best $137 I've spent in a long time. This jack is well engineered, rock solid, smooth and sturdy; lifting and releasing my 2005 Toyota Sequoia is a breeze. I really love this jack! My old jack had seen its best days, so I needed a good replacement without breaking the bank....and boy did I hit the jackpot. Happy camper here! Note: My only complaint, there were no instructions included how to correctly remove that "spring-loaded" handle/bar holder clamp. I did not know it was spring loaded, so I just ripped off the hook from the handlebar-holder assembly and this handle bar holder assembly violently flipped forward and slammed so hard on my left pointer, the pain could make a grown man cry, and it still hurts two weeks later lol. So please be VERY careful when removing this safety clamp from the jack.

It works a expected and raises fast while coming down slowly, just need to know is pretty heavy and this makes it somehow difficult to move around.

Looks nice, but would not pick up one side of my Ford F150 which is specified to be 4729lbs. 3 Ton jack should be able to pick up the entire truck, would not lift it at all. I would not recommend this jack.
