I bought these shoes to wear for a day on the river in Idaho. I don't know what Linda in the reviews is talking about. These shoes are awesome! They are great in the water, sand, rocks and concrete! I wore these shoes from 0830 to nine o'clock tonight! No socks and no blisters. Walking over all those affore mentioned surfaces. I drove to our meet point an hour away and I drove home in them and they were fine. No blisters on my feet. Perhaps Linda has daintier feet. When we stopped for lunch between trips down river I stepped on the thorn in the picture. It went straight into my shoe and I had it there all through lunch and walking back to the truck over concrete then back to the water through sand and I DIDN'T NOTICE until I stopped to wash the sand out of them! My foot was fine, it didn't reach my foot! If you're not sure if water shoes, these are simple, cute shoes that fit great! They are sturdy yet functional!

These are the most comfortable water shoes I’ve ever owned!! As someone who struggles with low back pain, good fitting, comfortable shoes are important to me. There are more comfortable than some of my actual sneakers. Extremely lightweight, form fitting (but not tight), arch support, and a thick sole. Worn often to the beach, and jet skiing. They have great grip, stay cool on hot sand, and don’t hold as much sand as others I’ve owned. They dry quickly, keeping pruning to a minimum. Though compact and light enough to pack, they've replaced my sneakers (with socks) for air travel to any vacation destination with beach or pool. Easy on/off wet or dry and look similar enough to sneakers that I don’t feel awkward walking around airports in them. Tested on a recent trip from east coast US to Italy. Long flight, lots of walking, and experienced no foot fatigue, blisters, or back pain!! They have great shock absorption. I will absolutely be buying more because I accidentally left one at a friends and was upset to find I didn’t have them for a recent whitewater rafting trip. They would have been perfect for that too. Simply the best inexpensive water shoe!! True to size, purchased regular sneaker size.

I wasn't sure how much I was going to like the fit of this particular water shoe... I bought "true to size" and they were a little snug to get on, at first anyway. I suggest opening the stretchy elastic "laces" as much as you can and then slip your feet into it. They do have the "heel loop" as most feet covers do have... If it's to tough for you to pull up on the heel loop with your fingers then get a pencil/pen, or something long enough, to slide through it and pull it up nicely around your heel. You should never slam, tug, or pull at the heel anyway- it causes damage to the heel of your shoes and therefore there lifespan. Last option would be is getting a shoe horn! Sooo, I wore mine twice now and they're so comfortable and lightweight that I forgotten I had them on. At first, like I said, they felt a little snug but lossening the elastic helped. I did my stretches and light exercises without any problems, walked a little around the house, and rode my recumbent bike while watching a Netflix movie... My feet felt great and stayed dry- that's a win- win for me!!! The second time I dipped myself in the pool with them on and did some gardening outside AKA repotting my houseplants. We have mostly hardwood flooring and when it gets wet, from kids trekking in and out of the house and pool, you have to be careful walking or you WILL fall. Well... Let me tell ya, I went in and out of the house (kept forgetting things I needed- getting older will do that to ya 😉) and I didn't slip once, they have great traction to them! Personally, I don't like wearing close-toed shoes, during spring and summer, unless I absolutely have to for protection. Most shoes require wearing socks and during the summertime heat waves they make my feet feel yucky. You've got to take care of your feet!!! I wear lots of flip-flops, sandles, or go bare footen around the house. I say- "Hey! Try them... if you don't like them- then return them!" Easy peasy! I stand by what I say, so much so that I bought a pair for my sister, her birthday is coming up, AND I also got a pair for her husband, because the price is reasonable and he's a great guy! They're always boating, fishing, kayaking, ETC so I know they'll put them to good use! (Note: I'll find out what their opinion is also and I'll update this review) To recap... They look nice, stylish, have lots of different colors to choose from. They are basically unisex but have both mens and woman's sizes. The mesh is tough and the soles have drainage holes throughout the whole shoe... this is genius. They're comfortable, light on your feet, have perfect traction, and above all this... the price is right on!!! 🎶Happy trails to you🎵

The quality and looks of these shoes surpassed my expectations. The color is really pretty. They perform very well in the pool for walking, exercising, and swimming. The traction is good. Also the water empties right out of them while you're swimming. They're very comfortable. I totally recommend these!
