Very easy to use. However, it is on the heavy side to hold when operating. It did remove the trapped hair in the tub drain pipe. The bathtub now drains very quickly.

The snake apparatus worked fine. However the gloves they supplied only had 4 fingers. I couldn't figure out how I was supposed to use them. It's me back in them.

I’ve owned and have rented a few drain snakes over the years, from the small manual ¼” cable diameter ones to ¾” motorized automatic units. This VEVOR 5/16” diameter 26’ turned out to be my go to snake because it is perfectly sized for 2” pipes around my kitchen. The ¼” snakes are good for up to 1-1/2” pipes and the 3/8” diameter works great for larger pipes but were just too stiff for 2” pipes to go through turns. The 5/16” diameter turned out to be perfect. The drum rotates when you pull the trigger. Make sure to start with slow speed; adjust the speed control knob to the minimal setting before pulling the. The auto feed works by squeeze the feed handle. The unit was well built. There was an instruction booklet that came with the unit. Someone had put good effort writing it but the translation was a little hard to understand. What would make this an even better product is a window or opening in the drum so you can see how much cable has dispensed.

The product broke and I wrote a review simply stating that. The company reached out to me took steps to make this right and reimbursed me without hassle even though the time to seek reimbursement on Amazon was passed. I can see from other reviews that the product has worked for others so I see this as the unavoidable, nothing is perfect, and when a customer does have a problem, I appreciated the willingness to make sure I was well treated and paid back.

So, we are the 2nd owner of a 1974 home that uses heavy mineral well water that has had some age & use issues. This spring the issue revolved around the bathroom sink drains ... we had the plumber come out for a slow drain & he used a tool similar to this one.... took him 7 minutes or less to fix the drain & cost us $$$... a week later the other drain completely stopped draining and instead of calling the plumber my husband asked me to find the tool the plumber used. We found the Vevor & it worked great! After we figured out where to pause & let it do it’s magic the drain has never worked better. My husband likes it so much that when an outdoor drain started acting up we pulled it out again. Big believers in the right tool for the job & this is the right tool!

I have lived in the same house for a decade and have a clog problem on the basement shower drain at least once a year. My neighbor would clear the clogs in the past but he moved away this past year.
