Pros: This model lights up and changes colors on the sides of the wheels too. My kid loves this version because it catches a lot of attention from friends and bystanders. We chose the color black, and it still looks exciting. It is quiet so I have to yell about riding it inside the house. It’s very neat to view a night and it’s sturdy.     • Bummed! BUT THEY FIXED THE ISSUE

*UPDATE* Turns out the only problem was a faulty charger. I initially contacted the company about returning it but after troubleshooting it with the person from the company I decided to hold off on returning it and letting them send out a new charger. I can not express enough how easy to deal with and nice they were. We got the new charger 2 days ago and haven’t had a problem since. Sure it was inconvenient to have my kids’ gift mess up but I’ve learned to accept that things happen & I’m certain this company didn’t intend to send a faulty part. If anyone runs into an issue with their board, contact the company. They were prompt with replying & very apologetic. As much as my kids love this board sharing it has become a bummer for them so I may be purchasing another in the near future :) It was super cool...for about 30 mins. Every time my kids try to use it, it only works for about 2 mins and then beeps like crazy with the battery symbol lit up. I put it on the charger & it charged for around 5 mins. Then the light went from yellow to green. I have tried charging it again but now the charger does not work. Happy Easter to us, UGH! ... show more

I ordered 3 of these this particular one is not balanced and I have to send it back the other 2 work fine its just a pain now having to return it and wait for a new one. You control the volume on the hoverboard with your phone. Battery life last. Lights are nice and bright. They seem very durable. Only gave it 4 stars because I have to return one because it wont balance. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My 10 year old daughter loves it! She had never been on one before and it was truly easy for her to learn. We have had no problems with charging it and it lasts hours. She’s had it now for 2 months and still uses it everyday. We have taken it to the park and she’s been able to go up and down the hills with no problems. I researched this purchase for over a month and wasn’t to sure if she would use it or be able to even ride it, and I am so glad I did purchase it....this was truly a great purchase-a great gift! ... show more

    • DO NOT BUY. Unsafe, cheap. Don’t waste your time, money or safety to save a buck.

Do NOT BUY! Christmas present was ruined. Seemed great until it smelled like burning rubber when first charging. Smelled toxic and smelled up my whole house and freaked us out to the point that we didn’t dare use it again. We are scared! From what I’m reading, must be a cheap product and battery/charger combo. And I’ve read about them exploding because of this. Contacted customer service and they emailed back saying they’re contacting the manufacturer and I can wait some more!?!? Well, how about advising it’s unsafe and to stop using!?! Don’t have time for this since it was a Christmas gift and my daughter is devastated and I wish I’d spent a little more for a brand name board at the store. Returning this and getting a SAFE ONE! Long story short, Pay a few bucks more and buy a safe one. DO NOT BUY!!! UPDATE: I got the runaround and never heard back from the seller. What a joke. I brought this for my son birthday in March. .From the beginning the battery life was average at best and would constantly beep and need to be recalibrate. Part of me wanted to return it but decided to keep which he was able to enjoy for most of the summer. Lately he has not been using it as he has a new bike now, but the other day he went to use it and noticed it was not powering on. When plugged in it powers on but yellow flashing and once plugged out shuts down. Disappointed in the price paid, trying to contact the vendor to see what they can do to help. ... show more
