I bought this specifically bcs I moved from Texas to California. I drove at a constant speed btw 80 mph and up to 95 mph. The matt kept the cargo in place with very minor movement. Setting it up was quite easy. I drove about 2 hrs hrs the first night, 10 hrs the second day and 11 hrs the third day . Cargo arrived in perfect conditions I was scared it wouldn’t stand the air pressure bcs of the speed and length of the trip. I went through some mild rain, extremely summer heat. Yet it arrived to California like new. Of course just dirty with bugs . Easy to wash and store it in its bag.

Lasted me from Utah to Florida. Inexpensive compared to other options I saw. It worked on my little old Mazda 3. Even with the gripper pad underneath it still slid about an inch, but not surprised as I went 90+mph at some points. Sadly not completely waterproof, my things got wet after it rained at least twice. We double-trash-bagged them and there was still water between the layers of bags when I unpacked. Not soaked tho. Never used the lock but the directions are fairly easy to follow. Thanks to other reviews I knew to tie it down really tight, it worked great overall. Besides the water getting in, it delivered well. Still in good condition after the trip, no rips, planning to reuse

It was very durable on our cross-country trip. The only knock we had was that it was a little difficult to get a tight fit. Constant adjustments throughout the trip... but no big issues. We would purchase again.

I used this to maximize space when moving 3 states away. It worked great! I had no rain so I can't say anything about it being waterproof but it was very secure. For my own piece of mind I did add one wratchet strap corner to corner but it's not necessary. It didn't move at all. I secured it to my roof racks. I highly recommend this!

This carrier held luggage for 6 people! More than any other carrier I saw on the road. It’s also super easy to remove once we were at the cabin. I took it over 2,600 miles in and out of mountains and had no problems. Stacking properly is the key.

We took a road trip from Texas to Iowa and purchased this bag for the trip. It was to hold the luggage for a family of six. We could only get five of our suitcases to fit, but that wasn’t a problem. Outside of Missouri, we went through a storm that would have been a test for any bag. There were high winds and a ton of rain. It was truly harrowing. I wish I could say that this bag held up and kept the water out, but it did not. Water got in the bag and drenched the clothes in one of our suitcases. I was impressed nonetheless with the fact that, considering the storm, the other suitcases were only wet on the outside, but dry inside. So I am giving 3 stars.

This car top carrier was awesome. Used it for our trip from WNY to the OuterBanks. Straps stayed tight the whole way, kept everything dry even though a torrential rain storm. We couldn't attach it to our roof rails as they are flush, so we used the included straps for the door frame mount, they worked great. It worked great for us on our Hyundai Tucson.
