  • The reviews made me buy this
Size: 16 oz
And my dog made me love it. ❤️ I have a pug, a 16 year old pug... anyone w pugs understands the skin issues they have. And it seems the older she's gotten the worse its gotten. Her belly would look almost black from scabs from rubbing ( itching) it on the carpet CONSTANTLY. I put this on her in the morning and she has instant relief. 🙏 I reapply at night time & there's no more waking me up from hearing her rubbing her belly on the floor. We can BOTH finally sleep through the night now 😁 I'm not sure if it's called a hot spot or skin allergy. Nothing I have tried or the vet has ever given her helped for any length of time but this has worked for her every single day. She was so itchy I felt horrible for her. I changed her diet, tried every shampoo out there ontip of the ones the vet gave me, other sprays, ointments, not washing her so much to washing her alot to unscented dooggy wipes, everything was just one dead-end after another. I couldn't imagine living with a constant itch every single day. Then, as I was reading the reviews for this it sounded so promising. And Thank God it helped my poor itchy puppy. At 16 years old she should be enjoying her golden puppy years not losing her mind bc she can't stop itching. I can't say enjoy good things about this. Thank you all for the reviews bc that's what really made me try it. It's a true value for the money. Great Stuff!!! ... show more

  • Stopped the constant licking immediately.
Size: 16 oz
My big dog had something that irritated his skin recently. It is harder and harder to get a vet appointment anymore due to too many animals and fewer vets. I had to come up with a solution to stop the constant licking of the hot spot that he had now created. This product actually worked and it was IMMEDIATE! I was pretty shocked at how fast the irritation must have gone away. He is finally healing!! He did not complain when I sprayed it on the hot spot and just stopped the licking. WOW! ... show more

  • Great product, not so great bottle
Size: 16 oz
I like this product because it does what it says it will do. My dog was literally chewing his fur off from flea bite irritation. It didn't matter how much I bathed him, or what I put on him, his skin was so irritated he kept me up all night with his restless chewing. The first time I sprayed it on him, he ran and hid under the sofa. I noticed that he immediately stopped scratching and chewing. The second time I sprayed it on him he wagged his tail. He didn't like the smell. It does have a very strong smell. The smell isn't necessarily unpleasant but I would recommend you spray it on the dog outside to dissipate the scent. My preferred method for putting it on was to dilute it in water. I used a half spray/half water mix. I would put the mix in an old water bottle and slowly poured it over my dog's back (he has thick German Shepherd hair) to totally saturate his skin, and I let him air dry. Otherwise I had to reapply it twice a day for sufficient relief. Using the dilution method gave him 2 or 3 days of continuous relief. It's a good product, but I found the bottle (packaging) very hard to hold onto after it got wet, which is why I recommend transferring the product into a plant mister bottle with a trigger sprayer for better control. ... show more

  • best hot spot relief
Size: 8 oz
Maybe it's the winter blues, but my St. Bernard (Zelda) started a hot spot on her hind leg that seemed to "blow up" over night and covered the entire rear thigh portion. Through trial and error, here's what I did to treat this hot spot and others that "pop up" from nowhere: #1: Shave the hair away from the hot spot (you don't have to "bald" the area, but the skin does need to breathe)(home clippers do the trick---be sure to take apart and clean those clippers w/alcohol, then oil, when finished). #2: I use this product. It does seem to bring instant relief. It is strong smelling, but if it helps her get instant relief I will use it. It's better smelling than the #3 home remedy that I use. (P.S. You can spray the air w/the Odo Ban sold on this web site to freshen up the house when finished playing "voodoo" doctor on your dog). #3: Home remedy: In a pint size mason jar I mix 2 vials of golden seal, approximately 20-25 drops of tea tree oil and approximately 3 Tablespoons of Jojoba oil. Fill the rest of the way with water. Once mixed, I use 1/4 of the mixture (make it as close to room temp as possible)and soak the sore using a sterile gauze pad. After about 2 hours I will give the sore a spray with the Vet's Best Hot Spot (I use the spray about 3 times per day). I use the home remedy in the morning and before bed time. Cover the mason jar and store it in the refrigerator and microwave 1/4 of the mix for approx. 15-20 seconds (covered w/paper towel)when it's time to treat the sore. #4: I give a generic over the counter benadryl (25 mg. diphenhydramine hydrochloride) in the morning and at night. I could not afford a $300 vet bill (with their trial and error as to what is causing the hot spot, not to mention her trauma at going to the vet's) and thought I would try this first. The hot spot on the thigh had me worried until I tried all of this. As of today (after 1 week of treatment) the thigh is healed and has hair growing back (even after re-shaving the area after 3 days of treatment). I think the jojoba oil being packed w/vitamin E encourages the quick growth. I hope this helps give your pet (and you) relief. ... show more

  • I really like this Vet's Best Dog Hot Spot Itch...
Size: 16 oz
I recently tried the Vet's Best Dog Hot Spot Itch Relief Spray and I have to say, I'm impressed! Not only is it effective at providing immediate relief for my dog's dry skin, rash, and itching, but it's also made right here in the USA. As a dog owner, I always appreciate products that are made locally. But the best part is how soothing it is for my furry friend. It's like a spa treatment for his itchy skin! My 12-year-old dog has been struggling with skin issues for a while, and this spray has been a game-changer. I can see a visible improvement in his comfort and overall well-being. I would highly recommend this product to any dog owner dealing with similar issues. Trust me, it's a 10/10 recommendation! Give it a try and give your pup the relief they deserve. ... show more
