As a woman, 5'0 and 115lbs, I looked all over for a petite chair that would fit me well and wasn't a child's chair. Most of the chairs out there are geared towards the "big & tall". This chair however is perfect for the "petite & small"! The arm rests move in 4 different directions and I was able to place them at their most narrow position which fits me great. The seat hits me right behind the knees so my feet don't dangle. The back is narrow enough to cuddle me perfectly, and yet fits my son (5'9 & 150lbs) great too!. I'm not a gamer, but use my home office daily and will spend hours in my chair. My last office chair cost me under a hundred dollars and lasted me about 8 years. I didn't realize how miserable it was with my dangling feet and aching back! This was (in my mind) quite a splurge for me, but soooo worth it. The lumbar pillow is quite stiff and I've just set it off to the side for now, it's just too big. The neck pillow is a little softer and I've put it on the chair, but I really don't lean back on it that much- plus it's just a little bit high for my natural neck position and the chair widens at the shoulders which keeps me from placing it lower. This chair is very well built and feels sturdy and strong, even when rocking in it. All in all, I highly recommend this chair.

I'm 6 foot short, and about 155 lbs wet, lean build but wide span across. I also work about 12-16 hrs a day at my desk. The plastic corner parts at the top of the seat would dig directly into my back and shoulder bones. The chair also had a strange odor for a week, which I'm glad to be rid of. For the price, I should feel like god is cradling my behind with his soft and gentle cloud hands. The back and bottom support were so stiff that my back started giving me problems. Maybe for someone with a much smaller frame, this may be a fit. I always have trouble fitting my self into tight places. The new chair is much bigger and, shhh, it's a Secret...

Beautiful chair that is very well cushioned, comfortable, and almost perfect size for my frame, height and weight (5”2-5”3; 140). I use it for my home office. I sit long hours each day in front of the computer typing. In this pandemic, the long hours of work at home caused my back and arms to hurt a lot and more and more each day. After receiving this chair, I do suffer from those pain any more. So I strongly recommend this chair for someone of my size or smaller. Even for me this chair works b/c it forces me to sit straight. But the seat is quite narrow so I can’t really put my feet up and cross them for a longer time. I guess that is better for posture? In any event, I recommend this chair for smaller, shorter, and/or thinner male and females. Good luck! Size counts for these chairs so do your homework. One more point, if you want the red-black one, it is cheaper on the Vertagear’s official website. To be honest I don’t know why there is a price difference for different colors. That is pretty lame in my opinion. :P

I purchased this chair after my previous office chair couldn't handle the rigors of working from home. I sit for LONG periods of time - 12 to 16 hours a day - and needed a chair that was sturdy, comfortable, reasonably priced, and a design I liked. This chair fits those requirements in spades. > It's Comfortable > It's sturdy > It was reasonably priced > I like the design BUT.... (BUTT?) I was not prepared for the SWASS. Oh. My. God. The SWASS. After a long day at work, my pants often look like I've wet myself. The PU leather of this thing DOES NOT BREATHE. Nor is there ventilation that allows for any airflow. I ultimately solved the problem by getting a "cooling" gel seat cover, but even then, I'm still get some hot buns. PROS: Comfortable Sturdy Rolls well on carpet without aftermarket wheels or floor covering Supportive Adjustable CONS: Poor ventilation/air flow - especially on the seat pan Easily stains Difficult to clean

Great chair! I bought this chair having some idea of the quality. My boyfriend got his 3 years ago and it hasn't changed shape or form. I decided it was finally time for me to get one. I use the lumbar pillow for work, then take it off for gaming. So it is great to have that option. Having seen other chairs break down quickly, it's easy to tell this one will hold its shape (not to mention my SO's is 3 years old and looks the same as the day he bought it. This chair shows up on the top lists on almost every one I checked. If the price is still a lot, remember that it is an investment in your spine health and comfort. And if that isn't enough, know that it doesn't lose its shape or form. I bought a black and white one. My SO has the black and blue.

This is going to be a Review for the SL4000 as much as it will be for the SL2000. I purchased in November 2018 the SL2000 and recently it broke, 3-4 years before it broke. In its defense, I am 6ft tall and 320lb, it lasted pretty long and I have been working for almost 2 years from home. Meaning I spend almost 8 hours a day working on it and then another couple of hours playing video games on the same chair. When the SL2000 broke I bought the SL4000 expecting more of the same and it is but... somehow the base of the chair is more narrow making it a little uncomfortable. However, since the SL2000 is still under warranty I am trying to get the broken part addressed and pass the on SL4000 to my wife. It's not a bad chair, but if you are on the large side like I am, now you know the SL2000 might be more your speed.
