The shade came in 2 pieces with a flat shade panel you need to mold by hand onto the circle frame. I opted to get a shade at Homegoods on clearance. Problem solved. ... show more

I do like the lamp. Its classy and goes well with my furniture. Literally the WORST and I truly mean the WORST part about this lamp is rolling your own lamp shade. Its not pre-assembled. They give you the two white rings, one regular hoop and one with the light bulb hole on it. The goal is to line the rings up with this little track strip inside the lamp shade. Grab a butter knife or credit card(nothing sharp) to help roll the rings into the track. Don't bother trying to do both at the same time. Its extremely frustrating. Do the one with the light bulb hole first then the regular ring. That shade material attracts everything and you will need to do it on a hard surface where you can apply pressure while you're rolling so be careful about dirty floors. Those tracks will try to tuck inward. Thats where your credit card or butter knife comes in. Wedge in the track ans slide it forward to help you keep it flipped outward. Grab a beer. I love this lamp, I really do, however the lamp shade that is sent along with it is THE MOST ridiculous thing ever. The lamps legs are easy to assemble, but it took two of us to put the shade together! (I’m not sure if mine was not made correctly or it had been damaged) One person held the wires while the other mushed and rolled one wire into the “tubing” at a time. Not only was the tubing not big enough to cover the entire wire, the tubing didn’t even reach to the end of each end of the shade. I decided to hot glue it to make sure it doesn’t come out. Lmao the shade itself is a joke, and be prepared to have an extra hand for help. Overall after getting it put together I am happy with it, but definitely think they skimped on the shade, it could be bigger and could definitely be a higher quality for the price. So I definitely think it’s overpriced, and I will be spending even more to get a better and taller shade. Do yourself a favor buy one somewhere else. Oh and FYI the shade’s seem looks very bad (Velcro material) ...thankfully I bought it for a corner of my living room so that the ugly seem is facing the corner away from view. ... show more

Looks great, but putting the lap shade completely together is a nightmare! Instructions suck and basically non-existent , to save some of you some time, you have to unscrew the black plastic cap looking part on the triangle part to be able to attach the legs. The instructions left that part out, they also left any words that are step by step instructions as well. Anyways looks good once you get it together but major pain in the butt for real. ... show more

I really liked the way this lamp looked online and it’s okay for the cost, but the shade was an absolutely pain to assemble not to mention the fact that you have to be careful not to bend it because it will sent. I replaced the shade with another shade I bought somewhere else because after I finally got the shade on it had little dings in it. ... show more
