for the price it's great. Could be sturdier but for the price does the job nicely. Trick for tomatoes to get a nice small cube for Pico or bruschetta is to only use firmer tomatoes, not well ripped soft tomatoes. Also, all items placed on grates, SLAP and Slam the lid down. I found a strong little snap down compared to a push it way more effective. Plus I can get in a rhythm of slap it closed, open and put another layer of fruit veggie down and slap close and pretty quickly the pico is done. Works great on onions, jalapenos, peppers etc. I have not tried the top slicer yet. ... show more

It chops!!! Blades are sharp. Gloves are great. However it doesn't chop easily and you will find black plastic pieces which is annoying. I cleaned with brush multiple times. I believe the blades are slicing pieces off of the top part which pushes food thru blades. Dishwasher safe.

The mandolin function and blades are fine. The chopper function chops bits of plastic into your food. It seems that the mold wasn't aligned when they made the parts. Every time I've used a chopper blade I've ended up with plastic shavings in my food.
