A nice, sturdy but not clunky or massive bedframe. The directions they gave were easy to follow. One person can put this bedframe together with little difficulty but it'll be much easier with two. As a note, this bedroom has 6 posts - there are two 'support posts' in the middle on each side, so if you're buying floor or slide protectors for the bed, make a note of that. The support offered by the underpinnings on the bed (it has steel crossbars running from head to foot) means that if you're using a new mattress up to modern specs, you won't need a box spring, and the height of the bed's head and footboards mean you can't really put a box spring on it anyway. The bed itself is attractive, elegant, and minimalist. It would work in almost any room, unless you absolutely cannot have something with a basic black/wrought iron look. A great bed for a kid's room, a small bedroom, or a guest room. ... show more

So I just had hip surgery almost 2 weeks ago. Within a week of having it, my bed fell through the frame. I didn’t want to risk that happening again. So instead of fixing it, I bought a new bed frame. I chose this frame and within 2 days it arrived. Fast shipping! Love it! After it arrives, I figured out how to maneuver it into my bedroom. I sit down on the floor and open this box. I wasn’t expecting to have to build my own frame. But hey, that’s okay. it was fun and aggravating at the same time. I get the instructions out and I start reading them and I start building this thing. Well as I’m getting close to finishing this thing, it gets super difficult. As I start to work on the supports in the middle of the frame, I realize the holes are not lining up with the parts… I spent several minutes sitting there cursing Amazon and the factory people for doing such a horrible job at building this. And then all of screws went missing. At this point I’m mad. I’m tossing everything in my room trying to figure out where these screws are while cursing Amazon and the factory people. And this went on for like 20mins. I even called my mom to try and complain to her about how messed up this frame is and how horrible of a job was done. She didn’t answer. So Amazon and Factory guys, I didn’t get to complain to my mother. 🤣 So at this point I’m so frustrated and just ready to tear it down and send back as a bad product. But I took some deep breathes and went through the instructions again. After sitting there for another 10mins looking at these instructions and shaking my head, I start cursing myself. This entire time it had absolutely NOTHING to do with Amazon and the Factory people. This entire time my eyes weren’t reading properly. I got the screws all sorts of mixed up. So I traced my steps backwards to see where I screwed up at and I finally got it all situated. In the end, I got the thing put together properly, and I got my box spring on it and my mattress. With all of that being said, this frame is super sturdy, it’s comfortable, and it’s not to big or to small. It’s the perfect size. Amazon, I’m sorry for cursing y’all.
