TL;DR - this is a fine little amp that makes an easy upgrade for the numerous old Lexus & Toyota cars with the factory amp behind the glove box - by installing this IN the glove box where I have quick access to the factory speaker wiring. Also, it's an easy place to route 12v power to the amp alongside the wire bundle headed to the ECU through the firewall. Even with the factory speakers still in place ("the best speaker upgrade is a new amp!"), the music sounds great! First impressions: The NVX NDA11005 has Plenty of power for discerning listeners. 'no static at all...' . I also like the solid connections and compact size of this amp! TMI - In my new car stereo installation, I had just upgraded the lexus factory amp to a Soundstream PN5.640D 5-channel driving the 4 OEM door speakers and subwoofer in the rear window deck. It stopped turning on after a week or so - we (their tech support and I) suspected the flimsy dongle/harness that combines the remote turn-on and the remote Bass Boost adjust dial - and I was having a hassle getting a prompt replacement, so I looked for alternatives of the same size and found this NVX NDA11005. It's smaller, more powerful, has cleaner audio specs and has MUCH better connections for remote amp turn-on and with PROPER RCA inputs; solid power, ground and sub connectors, etc. The Picasso's going back for a refund. After a 60 minute drive at freeway listening volume with the NVX NDA11005, the unit merely felt warm. So far, so good! Update: The amp is now driving the factory door speakers (all 4ohm Pioneers) and two subwoofers connected in parallel in the trunk: an 8" Infinity KAPPA 800W hanging 'free air' where the factory subwoofer was, and a sealed-boxed 10" Alphasonik doing the down-fire thump underneath it. Both are 4ohm SVC subwoofers rated for 400W RMS, and I'm hearing them improve with early usage! Amp's still running cool!

Good amp. Good price. Nice size easy to install. Powerful enough to handle 4x 6½ jl audio components, x4 tweeters and a factory 4 coils subwoofer on a jeep. Wired 2 in series and parallel to a 2ohm load. Easy connectivity. It looks good. Sound quality was good until a engine noise where starts. No the best on functionality. If the amp can take speaker levels on the rca should have auto turn it on by signal. All rcas have to be used to get output on the sub. Is no way to get that signal mix or sum from the front and rear signals. It would be great to include the speaker signal to rca connectors.

The audio quality outputed to my 4 - 6.5" full range speakers and 1 - 12" 2amp sub is insanely good. I was skeptical at first from other reviewers with overheating issues, I snapped an infrared pic after blaring music for over an hour and the temp was at a stable 100F (the average temp of an amp ranges from 100-110F, and some amps 120F is acceptable).

Not enough rms power junk sub output is nothing Can’t even hear it I would send it back but they haven’t refunded me for the other one I sent back I got this one because it was double the advertised rms of the last one I think it’s worse I’ve had a lot of amps in my life these are by far the worst for output of any I’ve tried Should have stuck with Rockville at this price

Well, my opinion about this amplifier that is that I believe by the reviews that it’s a good amplifier, even though I have not tested it yet because of some things that I’m missing to connect the whole system, but hopefully it will work very well. I hope I will let you know very soon. Thank you.

This 5 channel amp puts out a lot of power for it's compact size. I added this to a Kenwood KMM-BT332U head unit paired with some old Phoenix Gold 5.5" speakers and an 8" Kicker sub and it sounds fantastic. I'm sure it could easily drive 6.5" and a 10" subwoofer. With out the amp the speakers sounded terrible. The extra knob for the sub is nice but I'm not currently using it.

Replaced my 15 yr old Alpine 5 channel MRX-V60, 1200 watt amp that died with this amp. Very happy with the sound quality and higher power of this NDA11005 amp. It’s roughly half the physical size too.

This 5 channel amp works great and is an absolute powerhouse especially for how small it is. So far so good, and no complaints other than the bass control knob, which feels really cheap but works great otherwise.
