My last daybed was 20yrs old and I was running out of duct tape&ideas to keep it together! I saw this and fell in love. I'm no Spring chicken- and they left that HUGE box exactly in the wrong place. But I got it inside, downstairs, and all together BY MYSELF :) So, don't be afraid! All the parts were there and everything was packed well even though the box was banged up. I researched first- I prefer powder-coating paint jobs and this doesn't disappoint. No scratches or gaps or even any dents. I like the colour because my black bed showed dust too quickly, white furniture shows dirt, and this has been a pleasant new, happy addition to my bedroom! It also makes the prints of my bedding POP-( see photos )... I look forward to being able to coordinate things around the cheerful shades of pink :) I hope it won't mind that I'm not a child, I don't weigh a lot, but I'm definitely over 100lbs... *wink* It ISN'T squeaky. I've been on it for months now and I can say it still feels sturdy. My cat enjoys rubbing on all the swirls as well. ONE PROBLEM. The finials do NOT screw in as they should. Period. It's really dicey when you're making the bed and try to steady yourself because these buggers will SPIN away from your touch. Hence my removal of 1 star. I think this is a GREAT buy. Super cute bed and very easy to put together. My only complaint is that the hardware all comes in one package and you have to separate it all out; would be more convenient if each type of screw was individually packaged. But that’s a small issue and easily figured out. Overall, I am super happy with the bed, the delivery and the ease of assembly. Would definitely recommend! ... show more

It was very easy to assemble. The yellow color is more of a antique gold color, which I wanted. All the pieces were labeled. The knobs went in nicely. Some of the comments are about pieces not threaded properly. Looks like they got a bad lot.
