This set seems like a sturdy product but time will tell. The assembly is really all I'm reviewing here due to the fact that I just received it yesterday. The whole project took me about 4 hours which I believe is way too long for the limited amount of pieces that were involved. The main problem was that a lot of the screw's were at hard to get corners that you could only take about 1/4 to 1/2 of a turn on the included Allen wrench to tighten them up. Each chair took me about 1/2 hour, some 45 minutes to put together mainly because the seat cushion was very hard to get lined up and start the screw's through the bottom of the fabric. All 4 chairs have a little wobble to them after final assembly and I'll have to see if I can get some coasters to even them out. I believe that the reason the chairs are difficult to put together is because during the manufacturing process they did not make the parts close enough to specs so that everything lined up correctly. Would I recommend this product? So far I would say yes because it is functional but if you're not a person that is at least somewhat mechanically inclined you definitely should have someone else put it together for you. The difficulty rating for assembly for me, and I've put plenty of things like this together over the years I would rate it at a 7 out of 10 difficulty for me.

It seems very sturdy and was pretty easy to assemble for the most part. The screws weren’t labeled but by looking at the picture and counting how many there are, they match up and it’s easy to tell which one is which. The only main part we had trouble with is the chairs because you have to really push on them for them to fit in the holes but once you get it, the hard part is over🙌🏻Some holes didn’t quite match up with the seat cushions but you have to mess around with them a bit and it’ll all work out (hopefully, like it did for us). I won’t say how long it took my roommate and I because we took a break to eat but we don’t really care how long it takes as long as it gets built🤪looks great in our quaint apartment, definitely recommend🙌🏻

I'm a mechanical engineer who is quite used to assembling things; however, the stools are poorly designed for an average consumer. They rely on wood screws to connect the metal frame to a wood top without any pre-drilled holes. This poses a two fold problem. The first problem is relying on a wood screw to go through fabric that bunches up before you even get to wood (or you miss entirely and hit the interior foam). The second is almost relying on the consumer to have power tools to get the wood screws in to begin with. I myself only managed with a Phillips head screwdriver after applying my entire weight. The trick seemed to be get a good grip on one screw and diagonally attach the other one before attempting the remaining screws. Had this been mentioned in the instruction sheet I would have set the project aside for tomorrow so I could get power tools from work. As it was, I had already completed the table and just wanted to be done. I think I would have rather paid a little more to get stool tops that already had metal pieces attached rather than mess with the wood screws and guesswork of alignment.
