Arrived in one big box. Easy to understand assembly instructions. Took about 45 minutes to assemble. Everything you need is in the box. Lots of allen screws, and although an allen wrench is included, we have a drill with the correct screw driver head that made things much easier. You don't need a box spring, but we put ours on anyway, because we like a higher bed. Depending on the thickness of your mattress, the bed sits quite low in my opinion. That may be OK for some people, but we just prefer a higher bed so we put the box spring on the frame and it fit quite snug. Very Happy with the look and ease of assembly. Easy to assemble,good height ,does not need box spring ,metal quality is good,wooden head board and leg board adds charm to the bed,I am using 12 inch mattress on top without any noise and it's very sturdy,great deal for under hundred dollars.will recommend to friends and family.

It's cute! It fits my matress perfectly, might not be great for really thick matresses, mine is 10 inches and it come to the bottom of the headboard with maybe a .5 inch gap. The instructions were decent. It could benefit from "this side up" stickers for the bars. Charging station works. It's a good height. The legs seem sturdy. I am a bit concerned how the slats hold up.
