This is a great carrier! I purchased the medium size & it's plenty roomy for both my 13 lb cat & 13 lb dog. Neither my dog nor my cat can open the zippers & the fabric & the mesh are resistant to tearing. Believe me, both pets tried to claw their way out. Overall, this is very well constructed. It's easy to open & refold for storage. There was a moderate chemical odor but that dissipated within a day of sitting out opened up. I really like the washable pad. It's more like a padded carpet than fleece. The only improvement I would suggest is using a padded cushion rather than the rubber cushion on the shoulder strap. Update: The second time I used this a zipper broke open & my cat fell out in the vet's parking lot. This cat was completely relaxed in the carrier & NOT trying to claw at the zipper. It just gave way. I'm so disappointed.

I like the product and it’s not bad for the price. It was bagged when I opened it, but upon opening it I noticed it had something only it that was not dry. Other than that the carrier is fine other than a strong odor. I’m sure it’ll go away after a wash. I was debating returning it due to the stuff on it but it’s to late since I have a flight to catch. Hopefully a good wash will give me peace of mind.. UPDATE: my cat managed to open the bag twice in two different spots while on the plane. Most embarrassing thing of my life jumping over people sitting in rows Up and down the aisle trying to catch him. My cat is pretty big about 13pounds lean. Maybe this is more suitable for smaller cats. I bought an identical carrier (different brand)for my other much smaller cat and it worked fine.

Perfect for transporting our small kitten with us. He loves it so much that he uses it as a bed even when we’re not on the move. However, he goes in there to sleep at night and doesn’t like that part, so he’ll start to scratch. With all the scratching he does, this carrier is definitely anti-scratch! The removable bottom piece is soft, but we added a blanket for extra comfort. This carrier is a must for pet owners in small spaces because it packs up so nicely!

The media could not be loaded. I've used a few types of cat carriers before and this has been the best one so far. The 1st one I used, my cat was too smart and headbutted himself out of the zipper and escaped. So then I used one of the bigger plastic ones - but it was so chunky and heavy-ish to carry around. This one is really perfect! The cats can go in either through the top or size zipper. It's sturdy so they cant force their way out. It's so comfy that my small kitten actually chooses to go in it all the time (we leave the top open and put it in the closet, and we often find her in there). Definitely recommend for kitties all size! My 11 pound cat fit perfectly comfy.

We just adopted a new kitten and no longer owned a carrier. I purchased this one after reading the reviews. Very pleased. It's simple to set up, holds it shape well, and was easy to carry with our kitten in it. After we came home, I folded it back up for easy storage. It did have a strong odor when it arrived. I opened it open up immediately. Thankfully we had a few days before getting our kitten so it aired out well. I would advise getting it a bit earlier than you need to take your pet anywhere for that one reason.

Very nice carrier. I ordered a medium and was hoping it would be not real big but enough room for my Nebelung and he has plenty room to lay down or turn around. Only concern I have is when I was zipping it together the zippers separated and after zipping them a few times they stayed together. Just pray they don't separate when taking him to the vets and he gets loose. He didn't get loose and love the carrier.

Had to use immediately for two different cat appnt. First cat puked in it as soon as we got home. Second cat peed in it. Let me tell u it is very easy to clean. Just soaked in the bathtub w a little bleach and put outside to dry. Love this thing.

5it is basically what I wanted/needed but... The cat I used to have would have been able to escape; don't know about current cat. Kola, my previous cat, knew to push on zippers to make them unzip and because the end zippers on this have no way to "lock" he'd get out. The top and front have the zipper fob from both ends which means I could put a suitcase lock on them and it would deter the escape. If I had this for Kola, I would need to stitch the ends shut to deter escape and thus lose a way to put him in. Kola opened doors, too. I'm hoping Chuckie isn't as clever.
