I was happy with the packaging and sat down to put the pieces together. Once I arranged and started to bring the pieces together, I was thinking...those 1-star people are right! This is a piece of crap! Nothing lined up. The gaps were terrible. I was ready to click the "return" button. Then I looked at the 5-star ratings wondering why there were so happy. I looked at one pic and the light bulb went off. There are 2 pieces that have what I call an over hang lip. If you set those pieces in front of the non-lip piece...they don't fit. This lipped piece has to go behind the non lip. Then it all came together once I tighten down the screws. Speaking of the screws and nuts...they're not the best. And with the hot heat from the fire...how long till they fail? I'm replacing them with something more durable. Hope this review helps ... show more

This product was delivered intact with no damage. It is very heavy and sturdy, easily put together, had all the parts and screws needed. We haven't used it yet as we are still building the rock surround and patio. We plan to use a high heat spray paint to help against rust in the future but the coating on this fire pit ring is very solid already. Glad we bought this. ... show more

Does its job but is already rusting after 3 weeks. The paint bubbled and melted off after the first fire. The lines don’t quite line up which I notice all the time but ultimately aren’t the end of the world. It’s pretty nice for the price but if you’re picky and looking for high quality this seems to have a lot of play in it. ... show more
