Overall it’s a very nice stool. Looks great. Someone else reviewed that the stitching on the brand name on the seat cushion was not even and showed a photo of it, I checked mine and mine was perfect so I believe that person just got a defective one. Anyway my stools look great but the assembly was a nightmare. I spent way too much time trying to assemble the first stool and literally threw in the towel and gave up when my stool was like half done because no matter what adjustments I made or how many times I took the screws out and started all over-nothing aligned correctly when screwing the bars on the legs horizontally. I posted a photo of where I got and how it looked even though I followed instructions and tried multiple times. So, I believe it has potential to be a great stool but 1) you need a drill & 2) you need two strong people to hold the stool up while you both attempt to align the bars that will go on the legs just right before screwing because the bars are shaped very weird and I hate it! Lol. I’m gonna see if some friends can do this for me or maybe pay some one who works at a hardware store to do it because according to reviews-it can be done! I would only recommend if you have patience to assemble and are strong and have a drill or someone else to build it for you! ... show more

I ordered these VASAGLE Echo Collection Bar Stools Set of two in the Camel Brown color. The color scheme caught my eye, and that aspect did not disappoint. I like the style of the kitchen counter/island-height bar stools. The pleather looks convincing but lacks the feel that genuine leather has. I like the contrast of the light-colored thick stitching against the camel brown seat. I also like how the gray name badge looks against the seat cushion. The seat also looks good with the black powder-coated legs. The assembly was not complicated. You should know that getting the screws cross threaded is easy, so slow down and don’t force them. Each stool has a parts pack and includes extra hardware, which was needed since I had one screw that started to get cross-threaded, and I didn’t want to continue using it. I noticed that the cross bars between the legs are shaped to fit tight against the legs in only one direction and are not cut to accommodate the outward slope of the legs. This leaves a small gap at the bottom of the joint (see pictures). The instructions are not the best–mostly just illustrations. Leave all the screws loose until all are installed because you’ll need wiggle room to get all the parts together, then tighten them all down. Also, I should mention that the only tool you’ll need for assembly is the included Allen wrench. You might notice in my pictures that there is a T-handled Allen wrench; it is my tool, which I find much easier to use. Conclusion: The stitching on the seat cushion and the name badge is not straight (see pictures). That, combined with the gaps on the leg cross bars, is why it has poor fit and finish. However, the finished stool is sturdy and looks fantastic. Perhaps most people won’t even notice the shortcomings I’ve mentioned. The chairs failed to exceed my expectations, which is necessary for a five-star review. But they are priced well and met my expectations, so I am giving these bar stools a four-star review. ... show more

These stools were pretty strait forward on how to put together and the instructions that are provided are well done. It took me about 20 Minutes to put these together without the use of power tools using only the allen wrench supplied with the stools. They look very nice for being "pleather" and look pretty close to the real thing, obviously you can tell its not leather when you feel it, but I really think for the price of these stools they are worth the price to add a couple extra seats at your countertop or high table. ... show more

These are very easy to assemble. Just do not tighten your screws until all pieces are in place and be sure to watch the direction of the rings toward the front of the stool. My 16 year old son helped me assemble these stools and it took us about 20 minutes each. I LOVE how they look and they are very sturdy, comfortable to sit on, look great. ... show more

The white stitching is so cool with the black leather. It fits nicely under my breakfast counter. It took me about 30 mins start to finish to build it on my own. It comes with everything you need in the kit for each stool.
