Ceropegia woodii 'Variegata' (Ceropegia linearis subsp. woodii 'Variegata'), better known as variegated string of hearts, is a beloved multicolor succulent vine with absolutely adorable heart-shaped leaves. It's excellent for hanging basket culture, developing trailing stems of up to 6 feet long. You could even train it to climb a trellis. TIny tubers form on the base of the leaves. Flowers resemble tiny purple parasols. The small, heart-shaped leaves are pale to deep green with creamy white margins and pink blush that grow in pairs (opposite) along its slender stems. String of Hearts is a versatile plant that can be used in many ways to decorate your home and garden. Yours will arrive fully rooted in a ready-to-hang 6" hanging basket. Should you desire a different home, if not right away, options include displaying in a macrame plant hanger or in a wall-mounted planter. It can also be trained to climb, such as with a trellis. Its trailing stems can also be used to create beautiful arrangements or added to a larger potted plant for added visual interest. String of hearts is a low-maintenance, eminently lovable succulent plant that thrives in bright, indirect light, making it perfectly lovable in ndoor spaces like living rooms, kitchens, or even bathrooms. The media could not be loaded. Sadly to say, this is the first issue I have ever had with this seller. Normally the plants I receive are lush and full and beautiful no matter what kind I have bought in the past. When I saw they offered one of my favorite plants I checked it out and the reviews were incredible and very recent with picture proof of these gorgeous hanging baskets so I decided to buy one. Almost a week after ordering my plant showed up looking ABSOLUTELY HORRID. Not only was it beat up and beginning to rot really badly, it smells like mildew. To add insult to injury this thing is so bald headed it's offensive. The plant I have pictured here is clearly nothing like the product photo OR any of the wonderful reviews you see written here. Every plant I have ever purchased has been nothing short of lush and lively, which is why I was shocked to receive probably the worst plant mail order I have ever received. This is honestly the best string of hearts you can buy. I never review things on Amazon, but this plant deserved it. As I do, too, for the growth accomplished. I needed to show her off, haha! The variegation has declined due to lower light, but I have now added a grow light to help. I will let the photos speak for themselves. The first three, very pink, is the plant upon arrival all bunched up, on March 12. There are two follow-up pictures from the same day when I took an hour untangling. Then the final picture is from May 27. A lot of growth! Just need to get the pink back. Do it!!! You won't regret it. ... show more
