I was hoping for a thin, easy to manipulate sleeve that would work for my 3 cats and one very small dog. This is not it. They don’t hate the taste, which is great, but they do hate how thick this feels in their cheek and are much worse with these than other brands of dental wipes that are much thinner and easier to use in small mouths. That said, if I had a big dog, I could see really liking the thickness of these. Just not for small mouths.

My 7 lb cat absolutely hates this, a finger in his mouth is a lot to handle. But he’s always had bad teeth since we adopted him as a kitten, and brushing with enzyme toothpaste (which he loves) hasn’t seemed to help much. We’re desperate. Cat dental treatments are difficult and expensive. The good news? After I manhandled the little guy into letting me scrub a finger wipe over all his teeth, the white wipe had a clearly brownish-yellow discolored spot! Success?! If its visibly removing gunk, we must be saved! Wish it came in chicken flavor or something to make this easier. Please make a flavored one, I’ll but it for the next 20 years of his life.

Was pleasantly surprised that it has a little texture which should be helpful in cleaning my dogs teeth. I’m not sure how effective they are yet but they stay moist because of the jar whereas the ones I’ve tried in a fliptop containers dry out really quickly and I have to throw them away.
