There is not the best trumpet I could find, and around isnโ€™t great, however I will say it is a great value and decent for a beginner.

This trumpet is definetly great for beginners. The keys do stick a little even if we grease them up. The sound is pretty good but if you are a professional trumpet player you can tell a slight difference in the sound.

I was prepared for the worst but was astonished with the beautiful finish and fit! I have owned a Shilke and a pro YTR Yamaha and wanted to see if I could find a little magic at 70 so didnโ€™t want to spend a lot but hoping for something good enough to give myself a fighting chance to play again. I believe this will do. I just got her today but can create a sound from c-d and am starting with supported whole notes. Heck this thing is worth the price as a wall hanging but expect to be able to play a little in church by July 4. I am already able to play a pretty nice sounding taps and have done so outside my beach condo patios the last to evenings at sunset (starting on middle c ) I plan to play this pro bono for veterans graveside services . ... show more

    • Great value for a Beginnerโ€™s Trumpet

I am really impressed at the quality of this trumpet for such a low price. I have a Getzen Eterna that I have had for years and had planned to give my 12-year old. But I thought I would try this trumpet to avoid the stress of giving a 12-y.o. boy a $2000 instrument to carry back and forth to school every day. The sound is not as good as the Getzen, but it is certainly good enough for junior high Beginning Band. ... show more

i hardly ever leave reviews, so if you're wondering if you should go ahead and buy this, go for it. our local music store rents trumpets for $20/mo, and we have AT LEAST another 30+ months of band classes, so definitely cheaper in the long run. but this trumpet comes with everything, a nice carrying case, a mute, TWO bottles of valve oil, and cleaning tools. i highly recommend this product ... show more
