This is exactly what I needed! Holds a lot of shoes but is very compact for a tight space that allows me to still easily get to our laundry room. I currently have 50 pairs of shoes (combination of flip flops, boots, Hey Dude, sandals and tennis shoes) on the inside and 4 pair of Toms in the outside pockets and I still have room that I could easily add more. This is my second time purchasing this shoe organizer. The first one did great but it gave out after years of my cat clawing it and jumping to sleep on the top. If it weren't for the cat, the shoe rack would still be fine. I loved it so much I replaced it with the black color. It stores a ton of shoes! My favorite feature is that fits in the most compact areas. Due to my king sized bed and a 12 drawer double dresser that takes up most of my bedroom I don't have a lot of room to work with. The materials for this product would be sufficient if I were only shelving flip-flops, but since I have normal shoes the plastic foot broke on one of the four feet. The joiner pieces are a clear hollow plastic that do not hold up well to any weight. I don't understand why the plastic joiner pieces aren't made of a more solid and sturdy plastic? Luckily, I thought outside the box and just flipped the whole thing upside down to continue using this shoe storage. Maybe you could put extra "feet" pieces in the box? But, really those hollow tubes aren't made for anything more than five pounds and 9 shelves of shoes are going to weigh quite a bit more. If you are looking for a temporary solution to storing your shoes, this works. But, it didn't take long before mine started leaning to the left...then the foot broke off.
