I opened 1 box & it had a broken small plate. I didn't open the other boxes, so I don't know if anything else was broken. Amazon sent me a replacement shipment, which I received the next day. The second shipment had 3 broken bowls. Between the 2 shipments, I have a full set. They're beautiful but the colors are slightly off. The bowls are blue with a slight purple hue, the small plates are blue & the large plates are blue with a slight green hue. It won't be noticable when I set the table. I haven't used them yet but am pleased so far.

The original shipping method left 2 of the bowls broken, the company shipped us 4 new bowls but they were of a different design but still very nice. They seem to be nice bowls, there is a little heft to them, sturdy. And the glaze seems pretty durable for the 3 weeks that we have used them.
