As someone with straight hair that pretty much falls into its style with nominal if any brushing? I'm in the fortunate camp of those for whom wattage is king. The greater the wattage, the faster I can blow my hair dry and get on to what's next. Having graduated over time from 1500w to 1850, then to 2000w, and now to 2200, I'm truly appreciative of the difference those 700 watts makes: I can dry a full head of hair in 45 seconds and with maybe two strokes of a hair brush, and if I'm inclined to do so similarly spend the rest of one minute's time drying my beard. It's a basic hair dryer: same size as others, same weight, same general appearance, and if you need them the same general attachments that come with most others. But if you want to literally blow your hair back? This will get it done for you.

This is one powerful machine. I will never go back to an 1800 watt dryer again. Usually after drying my hair with a normal hair dryer it is frizzy and needs serum and straightened. This hair dryer not only dries quickly it somehow makes my hair shiny and smooth. No need for any straightening to tame the frizz. My only dislikes are it needs to be held upright for it to get to a consistent max temp and it is heavier than any hair dryer I have ever used, BUT it's motor is powerful so I guess that would be the logical trade off. It's not a complaint, merely an observation. Buy this hair dryer.

I needed to replace a cheap dryer I bought a few years ago. This was an upgrade for sure so I'm happy with it. As a professional hair stylist, I've used many expensive professional blow dryers. I got tired of paying for them just foe them to break within a year or 2 so I gave this a try. It's worth it. The only tiny con is that the attachments stay on a little too well so it's really hard to take them off but I feel like they may loosen over time. I actually don't mind because the attachments on the last dryer I had fell off so many times while I was using it, I wanted to throw it. This blow dryer makes me love blowing hair out again. It works very well to get my natural 4B/4C hair dry and straight with little effort. UPDATE: After the 2nd time I took the concentrator off, a tiny piece broke off and got stuck in the channel that keeps the accessories locked in place. Now, I can't use the diffuser or the concentrator which makes this blow dryer useless to me now. I've filed a claim as I purchased the 3 year insurance plan but the site is glitchy so I'm not even sure my claim has been processed properly.

One use and I quickly came to write this review. I have thick and very long hair (to my butt). With my last hair dryer it was taking over 30 minutes and I could never get my hair completely dry, I was desperate to make this process quicker. This drier cut that time in half. I was able to rough dry my hair to about 80% dry in 5 minutes. This dryer is light weight, quiet and very powerful. The heat settings get very hot and the cool shot is very nice as well. Also a very long and sturdy cord to make for easy use.
