I was told not to buy after market bags for my food saver but I bought these and took a chance. Will I but more when needed? Short answer is YES!!! I am single but like to buy bulk. These help my to break down and foodsaver food. They are perfect for 1 maybe even 2 servings. I have put "sharp edge foods" like short ribs, chicken parts etc. I was told that after market bags have no thickness and not to trust them for long term storage. None have punctured the bags and none of the bags I have used have leaked and allowed freezer burn to the contents. I also use these bags for my extra supply of prescription meds to have for emergency will traveling, camping or emergencies. They work great and will get more when needed.

Love that these are bags with 3 sides sealed. Many say heavy duty, but these are truely heavy duty! The 3.5 and 4 mil plastic does not puncture easily yet seals so. Had a freezer full of Tupperware containers that have been replaced with these bags. Food stays useable much longer because of air free! Many sizes available so they fit everything I have needed them for from steaks, hamburger, and chicken; all seasoned to veggies, berries, fruit, and even breads.

Needed quality (and quantity) vacuum bags at a good price. Use lots of these bags during venison sausage making season. The bags are heavy enough, just the right size, and work well in our vacuum packer. Will definitely get again for next sausage making season.
