It's not just a vacuum pad. =) I purchased a black dish drainer and had difficulty finding a tray to go under it that did not look too cheap or did not match. I do a lot of dishes by hand, so the little absorbent fabric mats stayed moist and provided a place for mildew to grow. The lip on the mat is more than tall enough to hold much water, but is easy to tip to empty in the sink. It works for my kitchen. Note that it is not a stiff mat and not too floppy like silicone bakeware. I was happy to find this mat. I knew that if it did not work for the dish drainer, I could use it under an appliance or to catch crumbs in the cupboard where I keep my toaster.

I love silicone mats! The under the sink versions are under all my sinks and litter boxes (saves lots of sweeping). Even make great shoe trays. How could I pass up the vacuum version?? This one is under my carpet cleaner. Normally, it's in the laundry room but currently in my kitchen. My cleaner is just a tad longer but as long as the front is on the mat, its good. I have another ordered for my regular vacuum. What I like about this mat, it's lightweight so no issue picking it up and following the rug cleaner with it throughout the house. Initally, when I went to reorder the black version, it was $9.99 with a 35% coupon. But I was looking to add to my cart and by the time I was ready to check out, it was $12.99 (coupon still good). Still ordered it - house is only a year old and this is a small investment for my flooring. Even at about $13, I feel this is a good price. I should add I just got it today and wasted no time getting it under the carpet cleaner!!

Fits my Hoover PowerDash Pet Advanced Compact Carpet Cleaner with a few inches to spare. Not sure you'd need one for a plain vacuum, but for a carpet cleaner that uses water, its nice to have to protect the floor from any leaks and drips. The silicone mat is floppy, not firm, but that doesn't matter. It does the job. No complaints. My machine left about 2" extra room on the sides and 1/2" extra room on back....but looking at my picture, maybe I had it turned the wrong way. Either way, guess it accommodates both wide and long footprint machines.

I love that this prevented the dribbles of water that inevitably leak from my steamer post-carpet cleaning from soaking into my carpet. Keeps my floors clean and is easy to wipe clean. The only thing that bothers me is that my steamer barely fits within the mat. In spots, it pushes onto the edges. Large vacuums and steamers likely won't fit well in this mat, as mine doesn't.

This is a nice silicone pad that is a place to store your vacuum cleaner. It keeps the floor protected and clean while providing a nice area that is specifically for the vacuum. I like that the edges are flexible so that I can just roll the vacuum cleaner right over and on or off the mat. It fits my vacuum fine, and protects my hardwood floor in the laundry room from any scratches where I am storing it. It is also a great way to keep any dirt or dust that may fall off the vacuum in one place that is easy to clean. Low cost, great item. Happy to recommend!

Right now I have it under my upright Shark vacuum. You still have to lean the vacuum against something but this mat does keep the rollers from moving around as easily which keeps the vacuum standing in place better. I may switch to using it under a large indoor plant - provides great water protection and the black is very inconspicuous.

I actually got this to be a small boot tray next to my backdoor, and it just fits the two pairs of shoes that hang out there, so I have no complaints. Nothing very exciting to say about it, it is what it is, it does what it does, and that's all I needed.
