Had an expensive brand before and rubber seal kept coming out and it was impossible to replace securely !! So far this works great and rubber hasn’t come off

This sealer replaced a Seal-A-Meal unit that finally died, after a good, long life. If this unit works for as long I'll be completely satisfied. The world of vacuum sealers has improved since I bought that first unit! This one contains a cut-to-length roll, which is a handy feature (though I seldom use it, it's sure nice when it is appropriate!). It has locks to hold the lid shut during processing (my old unit, one had to keep pressing down until a green "Hands Free" light lighted up). But best of all, it has a "wet" and "dry" mode, and the "wet" mode is VERY sensitive, Gott sei Dank! My old unit would keep applying vacuum for a long time after the bag was totally voided, and thereafter, juices from meat would leak upward towards the vacuum, and ended up breaking the seal. In wet mode, this unit stops the vacuum instantly upon voiding the bag, and begins to seal. I haven't had a single vacuumed-packed package of meat fail. I can recommend it with full enthusiasm.

I found there was a learning curve. Thankfully someone did a video on this product and how to use it. It works well and I'm happy with the size Having the roll of bagging material really helped when I was sealing larger items like a whole chicken and a bag of masa. Sealing opened chips was handy too. I was sealing everything I could to learn the best ways to get the results I wanted. I did not mind the noise and I feel it was a good value.

I believe this appliance with work good. Shipped out with power cord. I had to get one from somewhere else. They just refunded the money back. CONVENIENCE!
