I had been using a different brand of hanging moisture absorbers in my garage for several years, but have had to return my last several boxes because 2 out of the 3 bags did not work. The granules crusted in the upper section and no moisture seeped into the bottom of the bags. I tried these Vacplus Moisture Absorbing boxes and they quickly began dehumidifying my garage. Water collects in the bottoms of the boxes very quickly, even when placed next to the hanging dehumidifier bags. I placed 3 in various areas of my garage and am amazed at the moisture absorbed. The garage in my 4 year-old house is insulated on 2 walls, with insulated overhead doors, and these boxes have eliminated the moisture on the door windows. I will not go back to the well-advertised brand as it appears they are having manufacturing problems.

For some reason our walk in closet is just off the bathroom in our apt. This means a lot of steam and moisture from the shower gets into the closet. I bought these and they work great. Tons of water sucked out of the air. I've already dumped it out once after a week of use.

Edit....... we left them for a few more weeks... the bags got super hard like clumps of plaster and then all of a sudden we had water collecting in them... each one has about an inch of water. Definitely be careful cause if the get bumped over they leave an oily type of residue..... working on how to get it out of the carpet now..... Bought a new house..... basement roughly 900 square ft..... after a week noticed the basement has a damp feel not horrible but uncomfortable.... bought these thinking they would pull the slight dampness out of the air / carpet...... very easy to set up and like the style and look because the case will keep my 2 year old and dogs out of it...... started with 2 at opposite sides of basement and the following day, hadn't noticed any difference so I added the other 2 around the basement.... been open and sitting around the basement for about 10 days with absolutely no water collected and no difference in the damp feel....... very disappointed....to the point of ready to return

I was so skeptical when my fiancé purchased these for our bathroom and closets. I must say, these moisture absorbers work!! We have glass block windows in the two places we use them and always has condensation. These amazing things suck that all up and store the water at the bottom so we can easily dump it out. Will definitely buy these again for the winter months!!

I’m the past I had to furnish a container for the contents of this type of product. I hadn’t emptied it for a while and it ran over onto the carpet. I checked this container recently and it’s working and I won’t have to empty it. I can just toss it and get another. It does collect the moisture!

Although these are great at collecting the moisture beware if the liquid spills out it is very oily and difficult to clean up. Unfortunately my cat knocked it over and it was a mess. Thankfully most of it was on porcelain but some on the carpet and it’s been very difficult to get out.

I don’t know how it works…but it attracts water. I simply pour it out. Easy. And convenient. I used it in my tack trunk at the barn. Keeps my gloves and other leather from getting moldy.

We live in a rural area and our back yard abuts a creek. With that and Pennsylvania has a lot of rain we have a large moisture problem that also caused some black mold. The smell was horrific in my basement. It was started to permeate the rest of house. Our home is 2400 sf so I had to use all at same time. 3 basement and 1 in my bathroom that which doesn’t have any ventilation. The smell is pretty much gone. I’m impressed !
