We had a vehicle develope a slow leak in 1 tire. We live in a rural area about 10 miles from the nearest gas station, so this compressor resolved our issue temporarily. The Vaclife allowed me to set the desired PSI pressure, and automatically stop when that pressure was obtained. We had the tire serviced and repaired and all was good. Our 23 year old daughter and several friends planned to drive the vehicle from Illinois to Acadia National Park in Maine, so we had the car thoroughly checked over and made some small necessary preventative repairs. We also had all the tires checked and were given the green light. Our daughter's group arrived in Maine safely after 3 days of traveling. On the fourth day they went hiking in Acadia National Park and as they returned to the car hours later they immediately noticed the recently "repaired" tire was flat. Thank goodness they had the Vaclife portable compressor. They aired up the tire and safely returned to their Airbnb. The next morning she was able to get an appointment to have the tire checked. We opted to have four new tires installed. The Vaclife compressor allowed them to get on with their vacation with minimal delay. We now have 2 Vaclife compressors, and I will be ordering a third for my work vehicle. As an added bonus, we had several bicycles cleaned up and repaired during 2020 covid summer and this compressor is the only one that will actually inflate the new tires that were used on two of the bikes. ... show more

'Nuff said. This isn't our fathers' 1980s noisy, slow tire inflator, ha-ha! You'll see the numbers climbing unusually fast compared to other tire inflators. This will last you a while as long as you give it proper cooling intervals. It gets more than warm after inflating a rear motorcycle tire to 42 PSI, but takes just a couple minutes. Nice thing is it'll over-inflate from 0.5 to 1.0 PSI to compensate for the pressure loss when removing the inflator from the valve. When it stops, give it a few seconds to stabilize before removing the nozzle from the valve. Pressure gauge is pretty accurate, too. I've had mine for a year and it still looks and works like new. ... show more

I Purchased this on a whim. I didn’t need it nor did I really think I was going to, but I said what a great idea to keep in your car just in case. Well, lo and behold two days after I received it my tire was completely flat. It was a very serious situation as I had to get somebody to a very important appointment the next day. I used this device to inflate my car tire to the proper psi and then got it to the garage to have them repair the tire which ended up having a screw in it. This is the second one I've bought, after a good experience with the first, so now one stays in my wife's car. One day it did stop working - no power, figured to try replacing the fuse in the power plug, at which point I realized parts of the plug assembly were missing, having fallen apart. I couldn't find the pieces anywhere. Contacted them to get the parts and I'd fix it myself, but they sent a whole new pump! They really didn't need to do that, though I suppose some customers couldn't/wouldn't reassemble the plug. Considering what some people's experiences are in reviews of other products, glad to see this seller step up and make it easy. Definitely recommend. ... show more

This does the job. I wanted to find a balance between reasonably priced, relatively compact, and effective at providing air. This does it. The instructions indicate it isn't meant to keep working for long periods of time, but I was able to very easily add a few pounds of air to a couple of my slightly low tires. There was a time when all gas stations had air pumps available, and even a time (oh so long ago) when station attendants checked and filled your tires for you. That's a bygone era. So when there is no convenient place nearby (like a Costco or Discount tire, for example) to visit, I'm glad to have this compressor on board and easily to hand. I was having an issue with this tire inflator. It would read the tire psi, but the unit wouldn’t start when I went to inflate the tire. I contacted customer service and sent them a video of my issue and the rep helped me troubleshoot the issue and even sent me a replacement unit. It turned out that I was not plugging the unit into the 12 volt outlet in my car - instead I was using the “key” outlet. The customer service rep went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied and was able to properly use the inflator.
