Update on 3/8/2017 - Still working like a charm! Inflates quickly, quietly, and accurately. I highly recommend - It's small, powerful, and I'm confident that it will get me out of a jam when I need a small, portable compressor. It's already saved me a lot of grief a couple of times, when I find a tire almost on its rim and I need to get air in in it to make the vehicle roadworthy. No regrets on this purchase at all! Update on 2/7/2017 - Received a replacement pump, and it works like a champ! VERY Pleased. As a matter of fact, I was so pleased, I ordered another so I could have one in each of the two cars. It inflates quickly and quietly. It's compact, and seems to be rather durable. Original post: I bought this "EPAuto 12V 120W Portable Air Compressor Pump, Digital Tire Inflator by 100 PS" from Amazon as an Amazon Prime customer yesterday, and it was delivered today. Yay! I opened the box, and was rather excited to find it had some weight to it (not a lot), It but didn't seem flimsy or cheap in any way. I thought that if I were to drop it (or even toss it, and the recipient of the toss missed it, it would survive being dropped). It's a rather solid feeling unit, and seemed to be built much better and more durable than other pumps I've owned. Now, the test - I took it outside, plugged it in to the cigarette lighter socket of the car (making sure the power switch was set to the off position first), started the engine of the car, and saw that the display on the pump illuminated. I screwed the fitting for the fill hose onto the tire valve, and it told me the tire pressure was at 14.5 psi. I thought (and hoped) this compressor would remedy that issue, until I adjusted the desired pressure with the bottons to 35psi, turned on the power switch to on, and NOTHING happened. I turned the unit off, unplugged the unit (and the display on the unit went black) from the power source (cigarette lighter plug), checked the power cord in-line fuse, and the fuse looked fine. I plugged the unit back into the power source (cigarette lighter plug), the display lit back up, Yay! Powered up the pump again (turned the power switch back on),and NOTHING happened (again). No click, no noise at all. It was like the power switch was an ornament and not a functional piece of the unit. Right now, as I write this, it's back in it's in box with its accessories and packing materials being returned to Amazon, scheduled to be picked up tomorrow. I will order another one of these units to give this product another fair chance (as I would any restaurant or other merchant (Hey, everyone is entitled to an "off-day"), but so far, I'm very disappointed with the fact that this unit is a "#1 Best Seller" in the Amazon rating system, yet the quality control system for product is so <substitute the expletive of your choice here>. Did they test this item, spot check some, or what?!?!? OR, maybe just pushed ot out the door, resting on its laurels? Other recent reviews of this "EPAuto 12V 120W Portable Air Compressor Pump, Digital Tire Inflator by 100 PS" show similar experiences to mine. In the future, I'll pay more close attention to recent dates of the reviews. I will update this review when I receive the replacement unit I'm ordereing, and talk more about it when the time is right. I'd like to see t work, and last a while... This is a great little compressor. It can be carried easily in the truck, or even in one of the smaller storage compartments in some cars. It inflates quickly and stops at the pressure that you pre-set. I have used this several times for myself and a few times to help others and it has always worked flawlessly. Obviously it is not a super powerful compressor, but for a small portable unit it does a great job. And one of the best features is that it has a screw on chuck instead of that stupid folding lock chuck that wears out after a very short period of time. A great little unit at a very reasonable price.

For the price this thing isnt bad at all. Better than most and handles up to 60psi in my testing. It works way better than I expected for the price. Even though the listing says it cant be used for trucks, i used it no problem multiple times on my half ton pickup. However, it heats up a lot with one tire so I would not recommend this if you need to use it for multiple tires above 40psi. You probably wont need to anyway, bit it is convenient to have something to make sure your tires are properly inflated for road trips. I didnt give it a break bumping 4 tires to 65 psi on my camper. Yes, its not meant for that but i wanted see how far i could push this little guy. I should have probably gave it a rest after the 3rd tire because it was literally ready to cook an egg lol. I figured though id give it a go on the last tire, and that's when it have up the ghost. It was almost to 60 psi when some seal broke. Tomy surprise the little thing kept pumping air but the littlw tank was now leaking air from probably a crack in the tank behind the plastic front cover. I was impressed by its performance. So basically it CAN make it to 60psi. This would be fine for any tire up to 40psi, it should handle it well but make sure you give it time to cool down because it's not meant fir heavy duty use. Still for the price its not bad and it was tougher and more realization than some of the other cheap ones ive bought in the past. Id recommend this if you have a car. It is small light and not just a plastic piece of junk like most of them are.

Feel confident for our traveling adventures. Works well. Used with a battery adapter and a valve adapter. I set pressure to 35lbs. Took only two minutes to auto stop. Unit fits well in a small side compartment in hatchback area. Let’s see how long it lasts. Happy with my purchase.
