I’m using this to pressure test closed-loop custom liquid cooling rigid pipe fabrication for PCs. For this purpose it is extremely loud. It also has a lot of trouble with low PSI applications (< 10 psi max) where it will spike up and shut off too quickly to pressurize the system. The only remedy other than raising the pressure shut off is to create a three way controllable vent to allow a “leak” while you fill to prevent the initial spike from shutting the pump off. A “high” and “low” power setting would have made this a non issue I think. For bench use I combined this with a 12v car adapter AC brick rated at 120w and that seems to work fine. It might be useful for car, motorcycle, lawn tractor, etc. applications but I use a real full size compressor for those and can’t comment. ... show more
