  • LIGHTNING FAST!! Extremely efficient and sturdy
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. Why did I buy this? One of the deciding factors is that I've been removing TPMS sensors from my wheels and putting them into other wheels. Its a pain getting the tire bead re-seated with the current inflator that I have. Its a good inflator for inflating tires but iit doesn't have enough volume to re-seat the tire bead. This inflator does have the CFM needed which is what made me finalize my purchase. The first thing that pops out about this product is the price! It definitely isn't near the cost of similar products that do the same thing and is almost 3x the price of the Viair. However, the price does reflect the craftsmanship, design and efficiency of the product which I will explain below. The product is in a convenient carrying case. The case itself is nothing to brag about but it is better than not having it at all as it keeps all the pieces together in one place and is convenient to leave in your car's trunk without all the accessories jostling around. When you receive the item, the next obvious thing about it is its weight. It is made of metal which is the only type of inflator you should buy; never buy those with plastic as their prone to fail. To say that it's not light is an understatement which is why the inflator has a carrying handle. The carrying handle can be placed up or down in case space is an issue in your trunk or at home. It is very sturdy and is not loose. With that being said, be sure you can carry at least 25 lbs in one hand as the weight of the unit is about 20 lbs give or take. The inflator has dual cylinders. Underneath each of cylinder caps are removable filters for the induced air which was surprising to me as I have never seen tire inflator with air filters before. Aside from the inflator, there is a quick disconnect air hose with a pressure gauge and a locking air chuck. The quick disconnect end of the hose goes to the inflator and the other end threads the air chuck. The air hose is quite long and the manufacturers were smart in designing it as a separate piece from the inflator itself to conserve space when not in use. Behind the gauge is also a push button air release deflator that you can use in the event that you put too much air into the tire and need to remove the excess. The locking air chuck makes it easy to connect to the tire valve as you don't need to thread it as other cheaper alternatives. It takes me sometimes 20 seconds on my Viair just to thread it onto the tire valve so this is really convenient. Amazon has an air hose and air chuck together with Tozalazz inflator as "Frequently bought together" but you don't need either of those products as they are already included. Now onto the speed...IT'S LIGHTING FAST!! The tire on the car I tested it on was 175 65 14 at 0 PSI for both tests. The tire also stayed on the vehicle as this would replicate a real world scenario and I left the car on while inflating. The first inflator took 91.6 seconds to get to 40 PSI whereas the Tozalazz took 41 seconds, 2.2x faster! In fact, the Tozalazz actually filled more than 40 PSI and I had to use the deflator behind the gauge to get it to 40. With that being said, if you do use this on a sedan or smaller tires, you need to pay extra attention to it because it can quickly fill it up past the recommended spec and risk damage or worse. Now, was the price worth it for me even though I only have a sedan? I would say for my applications, yes. It has everything you could possibly need and you can service many different types of vehicles quick and efficiently. You can leave it in the trunk and take it on trips. Or if you're like me and do work on your own tires, it will pump out enough volume to re-seat the tire bead. PROS 1. Sturdy and well-built 2. Filtered Air 3. Swivel carrying handle 4. Quick Disconnect 5. Locking Air Chuck 6. Long battery connectors and air hose 7. Lighting fast 8. Carrying bag for inflator and accessories 9. Deflator behind the gauge CONS 1. On the heavier side 2. Carrying bag feels a bit flimsy ... show more

  • Heavy, but powerful and good for emergencies.
Color: Black
This is definitely a good pump to have in an emergency for any car. It works great from RV to big trucks. The thing I will say is that this may be overkill if you are using it for just a normal car but it does work for those tires as well regardless. Compared to many other of these similar device this comes with several additional pieces such as the long hose. It also comes with a battery clamp to car battery as that will be needed to power the device. You should have your car running if you are running this device as it will require a good amount of power to power this pump. This device definitely helps you if you have a low tire pressure anytime and do not need to go to the gas station. The down side is that you do need to pop the hood and connect this device so it is not exactly a quick pump but it still very nice to have. It is also a good way to avoid gas station pumps. You can finally pump your tire from the comfort of your home or if you are out and about and need a tire pumped up. There are two thing I will say first about this is that the pump does require to be plugged your car in order to use it to pump your car tires which means that you do not get to plug this into the wall for power. Second, you should and must have the car turned on and running before this will have enough power to pump your car tire. If you try it without turning on the engine, it will not have enough power to pump your car tires but it will work for say a basketball. It does not have a wall outlet so you are not able to plug this device directly into the wall, but if you have an adapter that will work with this. The normal default head for this pump is the car pump. From what I can tell, this device does not have its own built in battery and requires and external power source in order to function. The pump itself is going to be loud when pumping so be aware of that when using this. If there is not a lot of noise then there is not enough power going to the device and the pump will not actually work. I have not actually seen a tire pump that is not loud as it requires a ton of power to push air into the tire. It is pretty compact and light. There is also a very strong and well-built handle so you can easily carry the device to and from your car. I actually put this device in my car but it does take up a good amount of trunk space as the device is not exactly small or light. There is a black carrying case for the hose and device. It is not a small case and gives plenty of room for everything. The case handle seems durable so it should not break. There also an analog gauge. The thing to note is that this does not have its own shut off valve so you have to watch the gauge and know when to turn it off. You can also turn it on and off by pressing the center button. Do not really rely solely on the pressure gauge while this thing is pumping as the reading will be off while it is pumping. The hose and pump head do get pretty warm when using this for all four tires at once. Each tire could take up to five minutes to pump depending on the pressure level. This is something you can also fit in your trunk but it will take up too much space. It does not have a plug that goes into your cigarette lighter to draw power. There is no flashlight with this. The one downside is that the cables are a bit harder to organize compared to many other tie pumps. Overall I think this tire pump is a definite must for keeping in your car or RV. It definitely has enough power to pump your car or trucks. It really gives you a sense of security, saves you a trip to the gas station, and works pretty much for everything that may need air pumping. It does require a connection to your battery. You cannot connect it to anything else. The pump is powerful so you do not have to worry about not having enough air in your tires anymore. It is a bit on the heavy side being mostly metal so be aware of that. It is a bigger size but you can store it as needed but can be a bit annoying with the cable management especially the car jumper cord. ... show more

  • Died on first trail use
Color: Black
Initially I was happy with this compressor. Testing it in the driveway it worked good and inflated a single tire fast. During a recent trip to Moab I used the compressor to bring my tires (LT275/65R20 = 35 inches) up from 40psi to 80psi after leaving the trail. Compressor died halfway through the third tire. ... show more

  • Pressure switch bad ( Fixed ).
Color: Black
The compressor works but the pressure switch does not work. The reason I bought this model was because it had the pressure switch. Without the switch it will ruin the compressor at some point. Amazon has been great. They will refund my money. The unit looked used, it had what looked like rust on inside parts and I opened the air filter and one of the screws was missing a washer. I will order another one but if it does not have the pressure switch I will send it back. I want to put a hand held tire gauge on it so I don't have to walk back and forth, so it needs a pressure switch I returned this one and Amazon was great and returned my money. I ordered another one and works great. I tried it out and it went from 70 psi to 80 psi in less than a minute. ( My tires take 80 psi ). The pressure switch works fine on this one. I am happy with this one. ... show more
