The fact that I had to order the attachment for a quick disconnect valve it would have made it better. I'm giving it a 5 star because the fact that it's well made I'm overlooking the valve connector.     • Easy, quick, and lightweight. Everything an ideal tire inflator should be.
I was surprised how quickly this inflates my car tires. Three were only down 2 PSI so it only took a couple seconds, which is of course no surprise. But one was down 10 PSI because it has a very slow leak and I've been putting off inflating it, and it took maybe 5 or 6 seconds to fill that 10 PSI with a 5 amp hour battery. This definitely solves the procrastination problem caused by taking out an extension cord, lugging around a heavy tank air compressor, plugging it into an extension cord, waiting for it to pressurize, dealing with the dirty hose that drags along the ground as you go tire to tire, waiting for it to vent almost all of the air that was put into the tank wasting most of its effort since only 20% went into the tires, wrapping the hose, wrapping the power cable, putting away the extension cord... This portable compressor just makes the process so much more streamlined; plug in the battery, press your memory button, screw it on, and press inflate... A fantastic investment if you already have Milwaukee M18 batteries. For those that don't have any real use for an air compressor other than filling tires, this is a great quality of life investment, but it will cost a bit more than a tank air compressor if you don't already have Milwaukee M18's. ... show more

    • It works
This compressor is living proof that you get what you pay for. I tried another type of battery operated tire inflator and returned it because it had flaws right out of the box. So...I bought this one because I have other Milwaukee tools, and I have found them to be of good quality. It pumps the tire up about 0.5psi above the set point, lets the pressure stabilize, and then gradually bleeds down and stops where you set it. Two things: 1) You must have, or purchase, a Milwaukee 18 volt series battery (it should fit any of them). I used a low capacity drill battery to do one car with no issues and the battery showed full power remaining. 2) It is advisable That the user purchase a small adapter to screw into the end of the hose to act as a quick connect device so no, or little, pressure is lost, during disconnection. The one I got was cheap and works well....Good to go. If something happens, I'll revisit this review. ... show more

This air compressor is about the fastest I can remember. I have a dual tank compressor that ceased to function. I was going to get another, but I wanted something to take in my camper too. I have a large investment in Milwaukee already, so i figured why not. I didn't want to get one of the smaller ones and have to wait. I didn't want to pay so much either, but I assumed it would be good quality. I can't speak to longevity as I just received it. I have one tire that needs plugged, but have been too lazy to make it to the shop. So my tire was 10 lbs down, and it filled it in maybe 20 seconds? I was shocked. This is WAY faster than my tool compressor. In addition to being fast, it has a very nice supple hose with a very nice brass connector. It is just long enough (about 2 ft). It spins on via the threads, not some gimmicky connector. That does cause a bit of air to escape as you spin it on/off, but I think it actually accounts for it. You can see that it puts about a half pound of additional air when it is filling. You set the pressure in 1lb increments. It stops automatically. The hose has a nice place way to store it with additional options for sports balls, etc., inside of it. Anyway, I am pretty thrilled even though it was about 2x the price of anything else portable. Now that I have used it, I would have paid even more. There is one downside to this compressor as it is relatively large (compared to those micro-compressors). It takes up the space of two stacked loaves of bread (roughly). It isn't heavy, but it is not lightweight either. Any average person won't struggle moving it about, but it definitely isn't something you would want to carry in a backpack. I just mention this because I know they have a bunch of tiny ones that would be easy to carry on a dirt bike, mountain bike or ATV. This isn't one of those. If you are car camping or in some tiny vehicle with limited space, it may not be ideal either. If you have the space though, the speed and convenience of this thing is totally worth it. I have a large truck with loaded service body been sitting all winter. In the past have had trouble getting air without it taking for ever at convenience stores etc. other option is going home to a larger compressor that's a pain to get to.. So a friend recommended this so I purchased. I only had a 3Ah battery that wasn't fully charged.. The back tires were quite low like 35 filled to 65, front were 45 and filled to 55. This took less then 10 minutes.. It did use some battery but to be able to convenient carry up in one hand and fill that fast amazing. I also like the ability to save target pressures and turn on and it will stop at stored pressure selection. Great product! ... show more

I bought this on the recommendation of a buddy who keeps one in his travel trailer for ease of use and storage. I bought this over vendor "D" because of the internal fan it has and does not require a cool down between uses. It works great and is faster than my home neumatic air compressor especially when filling tires over 45lbs in pressure. I do agree with some of the online reviews that for what you get the price point is a bit high. It works though. ... show more
