Giving it 5 stars because it delivers well on what its designed to be. I think a lot of the negative reviews for the $200 model are based on unrealistic expectations. The scooter has a small motor with a small battery pack, so a range of 10-20 miles is pretty good for a device like this. Everything I'm about to say should be prefaced with the fact that I weigh about 200lbs. I found the speed reaches a maximum of 17mph, which is plenty for a frame like this, I honestly don't know why you would want it to go any faster, given the small wheel base and lighter frame. The suspension isn't the best on rough surfaces, but for the price and size, thats to be expected. On smooth surfaces like sidewalks, however, it handles well. Battery life is about what I expected. On a single charge, I was able to go about 10 miles before the battery dropped to below 50%, and that was while I was going 17mph for most of the ride. With a capacity like that, I think this makes for a pretty good commuter device, especially if you can ride it to work and charge it while you're there. The frame feels sturdy without being overly cumbersome, and its light enough to be carried in one hand All in all, I feel this was a good value for the price, and I would probably give the more expensive models from this manufacturer a shot.

Very durable. Although there is some bumpy roads where I live, this scooter handled it very well. The battery lasted me around 4 hours first ride with non stop riding. It’s been charging for about 3 hours and is at 60%, very impressive, It’s very easy to ride and the brakes aren’t too bad either it doesn’t fling you forward like other scooters. It is very good for the value I got it on flash sale but if I would definitely buy it again even without the sale. I would say the age range to ride this would be 12+ because it does have a good amount of speed.

A less expensive and much lighter facsimile of the Segway Ninebot, from which the Maxshot appears to have taken many design cues. Rides well, supports even heavier riders (up to 250 to 260 pounds), good battery life with fairly quick charging. I strongly recommend you get the scooter with the solid (red-trimmed) tires, which are significantly less susceptible to punctures.

This electric scooter feels much stronger and more solid than I expected. It’s made mostly of metal, so it’s heavier than I thought—but that also makes it feel sturdy and well-built. I bought it for my daily commute to catch the train, and it’s been a big help. It moves fast and handles well, but it’s still small enough to carry onto the train without any trouble. Even at night, I feel safe riding it—it has a bright front headlight and a blinking red light in the back, which helps a lot in low-light areas. Overall, this scooter has saved me a lot of time going to and from work. If you’re looking for something reliable, easy to use, and good for daily commuting, this is a great option.
