I used this product and my kids loved it. We had 2 scooters, same mode and brand, and they used them a lot, great product, quality, reliability, autonomy and it was by far the best recommendation for quality, cost and product features based on a ChatGPT analysis. After a year of using one of them I had a problem, we contacted Services and Support and without hesitation, they jump into the case, figure out the problem and finally they decided to send me a replacement with no cost for me. Wow I had this for almost a year and very happy with it. I use it to go from the parking lot to work instead of taking a company bus, two miles away. 20 mph and typically get about 12 miles per charge.     • MAXSHOT SUPPORT is BAD!

The MAXSHOT e-scooter seems well made until you have a problem. I ended up having to order another, third, e-scooter from MAXSHOT as on the previous 2 e-scooters one seems to be ok but the second e-scooter just stopped working with an E1 error code. When my daughter contacted MAXSHOT SUPPORT for this problem they said it was a controller board issue and said they would send the parts and instructions. Well this must have been shipped on a slow boat from overseas as it took us around a month to get the parts but guess what? There were no instructions! Well I took the e-scooter apart and quite honestly it looked like a spider web of either hot glue or some sort of adhesive that I had to use an X-acto tool to dig out the connections. This was not fun but I was finally able to get to the connections and then replaced the controller. Now on power up we get an E2 error. My daughter again contacts MAXSHOT SUPPORT and their fix was to say that the motor is the problem and they were going to send the parts. At that point I told my daughter that this is totally unacceptable to have to do all the rebuild on this e-scooter as it is still under warranty. So this is why me (grandpa) had to order a replacement e-scooter and it needed to be the same as the other one, as the girls like having the same e-scooters. If MAXSHOT SUPPORT would have done the right thing they would have referred me to a shop that would do their warranty repairs or they could have replaced the unit but no. So I would be very hesitant buying from MAXSHOT as their SUPPORT is very, very BAD!!! ... show more

    • Good starter scooter, poor suspension

This was the first scooter I bought, chosen for the price and reviews, and I think only the second scooter I had ever ridden. It has four speeds and some other features which are controlled via the mobile app. It works great, has pretty good performance but does struggle up a steep enough hill. But I also saw it had front and rear suspension which sounded good, but it is very stiff. If I hit a small rock in the road without seeing it to avoid it, I FEEL it, enough to startle me for a second. A couple of weeks ago I finally rode some Lime scooters. While heavy and not the type I would buy for other reasons, the suspension was phenomenal. The only other small critique about this one is that the app has a "lock" feature which prevents it from being used, but the scooter has to be on. So if I leave it locked up somewhere I would have to leave it on the entire time to prevent theft. So what I do is set the speed to the slowest (walk speed) before turning it off. Since you can't adjust speed on the unit, people would only be able to ride at a walking pace. I would only buy again as another starter for someone else. My next one I'll spend more and focus on more power and good suspension. ... show more
