The EGO POWER+ 21" Select Cut Self-Propelled Mower delivers performance that exceeds the power of gas. The Select Cut multi-blade cutting system is equipped with two, interchangeable lower blades; the Premium Mulching Blade and the Premium Bagging Blade. The Premium Mulching Blade is ideal for weekly mowing, giving you the cut quality and run time expected from a high-end gas lawn mowers. The Premium Bagging Blade is a heavy-duty blade that turns grass into fine fragments ideal for both bagging and mulching. Both blades can be used interchangeably based on the desired cut. The EGO Upper Blade is used in combination with the lower blade chosen to slice the grass into fine fragments; this greatly enhances cutting performance with all grass types. EGO’s Self-Propelled Touch Drive Technology comes from years of research and development. Touch Drive Technology puts complete control of the self- propelled system in the palm of your hands by using pressure to engage the system. A couple of years ago I was adamant that I would never buy a battery mower. I was a gas guy for many reasons: I felt that they worked better, they were more manly, you didn't have to worry about charging or replacing an expensive batter, and battery units could be quite pricey. After 6 years of using a very inexpensive gas mower it was time to replace it. Getting six years out of a 100 dollar motor was a huge win. But it finally decided to crap out and I bit the bullet and purchased this Ego mower. It was night and day! The cut is amazing, I currently use the mulching blades and my grass looks so much better than it did in previous years. The mower is quiet and I can use my air pods without putting ear muffs over them. The battery life is pretty good, I can typically mow my entire yard on a single charge. With that being said I would recommend purchasing a second battery as it will bring peace of mind. One of my favorite features is the height adjustment; it's just a quick slide of a lever. Not more fussing with the wheels or taking them off to set the height. And the mower is lightweight and can be stored inside. I have a very small shed and my old mower took up most of the space. Now I can keep the Ego mower in my basement as it does not contain gas thus freeing up my shed. And it's lightweight enough to carry down the basement stairs. The mower is well built and doesn't feel cheap. It also includes a light which I have not used yet. Some people will like the self propelled feature but I usually shut it off and push the mower. This saves battery life and provides some exercise! the last thing that I'll mention is that it comes with three blades and a collection bag! I highly recommend this Ego mower, you won't be disappointed. ... show more

At first, I wasn't so sure about this mower but come to find out I was using one of my older 7.5 amp batteries. Once I switched to one of my newer ones, it worked fabulous! I absolutely love it. Did a great job mulching and was so quiet and lightweight. I used it for about 25 minutes and I still had power to spare in my battery. I got the self propelled model. It runs great and is very easy to use. Battery life is good. Customer service from EGO is really good. I had one of my two batteries stop working. I called and they had try a couple trouble shooting things. When they couldn’t troubleshoot it they shipped me a new battery. ... show more

Unfortunately, the motor on my 4 year old Ego 2100SP quit. It was probably my fault for running it caked with mud which paralyzed the blades. Googling repairs, I came to realize that it was not going to happen. Reluctantly, I bought this 2130SP. At least, I was able to get the machine only as I already had a battery. The instructions weren't clear that this mower is ready to go right out of the box. I was trying to figure out what I had to do to assemble it. Just had to insert the battery, open the handle into mowing position and telescope it out. It comes with the mulching blade installed. I was thinking I would want to use the flat extended use blade but I was not in a mood to change blades. Turns out the mulching blade ran for as long as I needed to mow my front lawn with my 4 year old battery. Indeed, I think the battery lasted a little longer than it had in the 2100SP. The mulching blade cut beautifully. My lawn looks great and does not have row lines, just a clean all over look. More importantly, this mower is lighter than the 2100SP and has better wheels. I was able to turn it with much less effort which is important to a 68 year old woman with lots of tree and shrub obstacles in my yard. My only gripe, EGO if your reading, is that I prefer the hand brake style propulsion control. I had better control with it and it was easier on my old hands. Bought the 2022 model and I highly recommend this EGO model with the variable speed control of the self propelled function. Cuts great with clippings captured in bag and handles the capture of oak leaves embedded on my lawn. I love the way the mower folds so easy for storage. My battery lasts about an hour which is enough to handle my large yard. I have a second battery that I use with my EGO blower and can use that if needed. The batteries are superior and provide strong power to both my lawnmower and blower. With the fast charger it takes one hour to fully charge. This EGO lawnmower is the best lawnmower I’ve ever used and I’ve used smaller electric mowers and gas mowers over the years. I love this mower so much I clean it before storing it. ... show more
