We bought this before Hurricane Florence so we could store water in our tub in case the power went out (we're on a well so lose water without power). With the regular stopper in the tub or kitchen sink water slowly leaks down the drain. This silicone stopper left the tub and sink completely full for five days. I really don't think any water at all leaked out. Fortunately we never lost power during Florence. But it's great to know we have a way to store water indefinitely for when the next storm is predicted to come through. I'll note that it did take two tries to get this stopper positioned correctly. I think the secret is to let the tub or sink fill up enough so that turbulence from the running faucet can't move the silicone disc. Then check the stopper to be sure it is centered over the drain and forming a good seal. ... show more

I read the reviews and many seemed to mention the unexpectedly large size of these, but i wasn't expecting it to be this big. Really serves perfectly for its purpose. As you can see its about size of my face and i got a watermelon size head lmao. Wont let watergo through like the basic plugs.

I feel like the last person in America who still does dishes by hand — and I can never find sink stoppers that really work or these rubber ones that are large enough to really seal the drain. These are awesome!! They’re huge — cover and seal the drain with ease. Great buy!!

I needed something that would hold water in my tub but stop hair from going down. Unfortunately, all of the products I could find that do that don't fit my drain. I got these to plug the bathtub. Even in a tub where the drain is really close to the edge - so that there is a curve - these work great. You can also put them on top of your teacup to keep your drink warm.
