    • Really Nice for Winding Small Amounts of Jump Rings
I really like this wire coiling set. I got this to replace the old set I had since the 1mm part got broken off and the smaller one and the bigger one was getting a bit worn from being used to much, and I am very happy with this set as a replacement! Both rods are heavy and sturdy and very durable. The different sections are even and thick enough to stop the wire from going over onto a bigger section. The handle feels like a smooth rubber. I was worried at first that the grip on the handle was not going to be good because it was smooth, as handles on the other set I have are textured, but it is like a rubber that grips well and there was no slipping in my hand and I could keep a good grip on it, so that was a really big plus. The only thing I have to say is about the design and it is that I wish it was made that instead of having such a long space on the 5mm and 10mm parts, if they would have taken that extra and added it to each of the others sections to make all of them a little bit longer would have been better in my opinion, but that does not effect the quality or how it works. Overall I am very happy with this set of wire coiling rods and they are a good value at the current price of $6.88. ... show more

I'd been using knitting needles to make jump rings. I don't really use straight needles anymore anyway, so it's not a big deal to scratch them up, I guess. But this product is a tool that's made for the job. These are much sturdier than the aluminum needles, of course, and they'll be much more reliable. The grips are very helpful, too. These are sturdy, well-made, and comfortable to use. I printed out the image that shows the sizes for each segment of the rods. This is my first set so I don’t know if it’s commonly done, but it would be great if the sizes were stamped into the metal where you could see it at a glance.
