I had a problem with bed bugs and bought this product to do intensive war on these pests. I have used ortho bed bug and egg killer (home defense max). I purchased the entire package that included the encasement for the mattress, box springs and pillows. It is worth the purchase. The package deal was quite reasonable and the product was easy to install. It took about 15-20 minutes and I installed it by myself. I would recommend two people though to move the mattress and box springs. One person can do it with some coordination. The encasement slid onto the mattress and box springs quite easily. There have been no signs of bed bugs and it is very breathable and soft. I would recommend spraying first for two or three treatments in two week intervals. After the treatments, the encasements should be installed. Also sprinkled diatomaceous earth inside something like a soap dish around the bottom of each leg under the frame. This method works after about four or six weeks. It just takes a little patience.

I just bought my daughter a new memory foam mattress and wanted to make sure it was amply protected. I was a little worried about the idea of slipping the entire thing on like a pillowcase in order to zip it up...with a queen-sized mattress I worried it would be too difficult to take on and off or always require two people, but it actually went on easily with only one person. I also worried it would make a crispy plastic sound, which drives me nuts. The underside has a plastic-y layer but its soft and very flexible and doesn't make a crunchy sound at all. Of course, within the week my daughter had a huge spill on the bed and I was worried some of the moisture would have leaked through. Not a drop. Not at all. The mattress was completely dry. The mattress protector stopped all moisture. We easily removed the protector and it washed and dried up perfectly. We put it back on and all is like new. Totally worth the money! Love the zippered surround to further protect the mattress from all sorts of allergens. Love that it completely stays in place and doesn't move or shift at all. Great price. Can't recommend enough.

This is a great mattress protector. I purchased two of these. My son's full bed and my california King and they both fit absolutely perfect. No struggles to get on at all. Felt sturdy enough not to rip. Zipped up great and has a zipper velcro cover. Material is soft to touch. I did a waterproof test with water and the water stayed on top. How long before it would go through eventually, I am not sure but for small spills I think this protector is great. For bedwetting I don't think so. Overall it was a great purchase for me since I don't wet the bed ....lol it is just to protect against small spills.

My mom actually got the whole house this product to put on all our beds and I had to get one for myself on my California king when I got a place of my own. You can’t tell it’s on what so ever and it’s definitely water proof! Very comfortable and nice material all the way around. It also was very easy to put on I was capable of doing it myself without a problem. Definitely not easy to rip either but I still was careful regardless. I actually moved my bed from one place to another with my old cover on it and it never tore or anything it protected my mattress the whole time. I had to get another because it was stained so it made it look dirty.

I do like the mattress cover and I do feel like you get a decent quality for the price. I normally don’t leave comments, but I didn’t see any reviews about a metal bed frame, which I have, so I thought it could be helpful information. I have had the mattress cover for about 2 weeks and there is already a slight rip in the bottom that lays against the metal frame. The rip is about a quarter size and doesn’t affect the overall quality of the bed but could cause problems when washing or later on down the line. I only noticed the rip when I went under my bed to access a outlet otherwise I wouldn’t have known. It’s not horrible but it is something to keep in mind if you are going to purchase the mattress cover and have a metal frame. The metal frame actually is a popular bed frame sold by/created by Amazon.
